On the Ikaruga steam store, type "SEARCH" and try the password "1v7531". It gave me the Red Herring Badge.

To get there, someone appended the term loyagorku onto the Holiday Sale url and it came up with a.wav, (a man saying in Japanese "The forgotten road leads to failure and service") which shows this in the spectrograph

Just tried in web browser, it just does a search for games with SEARCH in it.

It brings up the input box for me, but when I enter the code, it just browses for "SEARCH".
Do you need to do or get anything before trying to get that badge?
EDIT: Doesn't work for me on Firefox, but it worked on Internet Explorer.

The Golden Potato was so good. Even better than the valve complete pack being the prize (and even better when they updated it so you could gift duplicate copies). Best achievement/trophy ever.

Got the badge by using the web version of the steam store on the ikaruga page. Login. Type search. Press enter. search for that code in the popup window. Get the badge.

Oh man, I'm getting Potato Sack flashbacks! I'm assuming that, based on the Potato ARG, that the involved games'll likely all be loosely connected (They were all Indie, IIRC), but Ikaruga isn't Indie, and I doubt the biggest link between the games would be "Bullet Hell," right?
Then again, we knew about Portal 2 prior to the ARG starting up, and we knew the launch date was approaching, too. Unless Valve wants to one-up themselves and simultaneously reveal and release a game, I doubt this is going to lead to anything more than hats, sales, or something really, really minor (Maybe a DLC pack for another game? Or one of those rumored remaining TF2 shorts meant for a canceled [adult swim] show ala Expiration Date? I mean, that wouldn't be minor, but it's been awhile since we heard about them).
