I've got a lot of holidays in Jan this year, so I've started watching TCW. I'm nearing the end of S1 so far, and while it isn't compulsive viewing for me yet, I'm starting to get a feel for things.
Nice to know it only improves as it goes along.
You're at the "shitty"(not really) part it's part of the initiation we all went through
It's a bit of a pain in the ass but It can be fixed. I'm almost done with a rewatch in chronological order.

I just recently started watching the series (only 4 episodes in) and I plan on watching it all the way through. But is it better for a first time viewer to watch it in chronological order like the list has it in or by the season?
Just wondering what people's thoughts are on that since I haven't gotten too far into the show yet.
Rebels is abysmal compared to Clone Wars. It's a damn shame.
Really, might have to give it a miss then.
Clone Wars had awful season 1 and 2 though.

I'm a huge fanboy of that series, too. I still love it today, and that was part of the reason why I put off this series for so long, but I ask you to give it a shot. It really is a fantastic show.Art looks so butt after genndy

And that still is nothing on the 4 part arcs of the Clone Wars, where they basically are each film length and get an equal amount of development.
.
Woah season 2 was bad? I thought it was fantastic. The first Geonosis episode was one of the best battle sequences in the series.
Yeah I really don't understand the "Seasons 1 and 2 are awful" crowd. Season 2 has the Holocron Heist, Mandalore and Geonosis arcs. And Season 1 has the Luminara and Ahsoka versus Ventress episode. I even like the Storm Over Ryloth episode.

clone wars looked amazing at times, especially in the latter seasons
uh did you click on it? I put in quotes to make it smaller, but if you click it it gets back to the original size (1.800px × 816px), if you already did that, I'm not sure there is a bigger version than that, granted never really bothered to search for it, it's death watch so use search related to them might find somethingGot a bigger picture than that?

Do the Jedi youngling group from season 5 survive order 66?
So fucking dead.Do the Jedi youngling group from season 5 survive order 66?
Rebels will likely never look as good as this. With CW Lucas basically gave them a blank check with each episode having around $1 million budget. In fact, no 3D show will ever look as good as CW. ;-;clone wars looked amazing at times, especially in the latter seasons

Is the Clone Wars worth watching even if I thought the movie that started it off was trash?
There was a time when I thought Kanan was a grown up and less douchy Petro, until I rewatched that arc and realized they had completely different eye and hair color. Still, might've been cool.
Makes me sad they're all probably dead.![]()

So i just caught up on season 2 of rebels. Ezra is meh I"m sick of him good things coming because he doesn't listen to anyone. Also people not dying via blaster-shot is driving me crazy, and the lightsabers are used like Leonardo sword in TMNTThat means it's not being used lethally at all
Just picked up Season 1 on Blu-ray. Does the The Clone Wars movie take place before Season 1? If so I'll pick that up before starting the seasons.
I mean, there was this scene, for recurring characters. Rebels isn't afraid to kill, but they usually leave that to explosions.
It takes place before the entire series except for two episodes - "Cat and Mouse" and "Hidden Enemy", which act as prequels to it. Hidden Enemy is from season 1, Cat and Mouse is from season 2. The show is somewhat out of order chronologically.
