US PSN has a sale on (Vita compatible) PSOne classics this week & more

Metro Redux at $9? I may have to bite on that ...

I want to bite too, but I know it's been making the rounds on Xbox's games for gold for 360 for free so I have a feeling Redux will be free on PS Plus at some point this year.

I might actually have to go for the GTA Trilogy for $17. I never owned Vice City or San Andreas and only ever saw my neighbor play them. Trophies make it so tempting.

Whoah! I didn't know Breath of Fire was on PSN. Thought that was one of the few PSP games that didn't have a digital version for some reason. I told myself that I'd cut back on buying games as I have too many games that are unplayed, but $1.20 is oh so tempting.

And I'm kinda kicking myself for buying all those Quiet games. Would've definitely waited if I'd known it'd get a native Vita version.

Edit: Wait, I think I'm confusing 3 and 4 here.

What a list. I think it's time to finally get the DanganRonpas.

I've been impressed with the quality and frequency of the PlayStation Store's sales and find myself caving to these kinds of spontaneous purchases in the same way I've been doing for years on Steam.

On the other hand, trying to navigate the Xbox One's store during their holiday sale ended in frustration and me buying nothing. They really need a cart, wishlist, and better organization (add-ons are poorly handled in the store, some of which are listed "bundle only" without referencing which bundle they're part of).

Damn. I know it's shallow of me but trophies for the old GTA games make them really tempting - plus, I never quite finished San Andreas.

Wonder how well they hold up now.

I think only Xenogears for me.

Side note, but today is the last day to get a year of PS Now for $99. I'm kind of tempted

I just bought Final Fantasy 7 last week (for the first time) and have been playing it. Gah, I suppose there was no way for me of knowing it would have gone on sale so soon.

Picking up Danganronpa and maybe Dino Crisis as well as Suikoden...

Hmm, might try out the Infamous series now that I have PS4. Inclined to start with Infamous First Light for $9. Seems okay to start with that one..?

I've heard it's fine to play stand alone. I picked it up when it a free game on PSN, but purposely didn't start it because I want to play Infamous SS first.

Holy shit, Xenogears is finally on sale. Cannot wait to play it.

EDIT; This is actually a really good week. I'm gonna be out $40 by the end of the week.

Second Son is a much more complete game.

Thanks both. Probably grab this digital and pick up Second Son as my preferred physical later. It does seem First Light is OK to start with.

Update: Ehh, maybe go for Second Son to start after all, meatier offering and I see others got First Light for free on PS+ last year.

Why do they tempt me with such prices when I hardly touch the hardware required to play them anymore. Haven't touch my PS3 in months and same with my NA Vita.

Why are there so many crazy deals immediately after the Holiday season. Anyone know what the occasion is?

Regardless, I get to finally pick up inFamous Second Son at that ridiculous price!

I just bought SoTN for its regular 9.99 price a few weeks ago and it was WORTH IT. At 3 bucks for PS+ members that is insane. Simply insane. Buy it. Love it. The game has aged wonderfully.

So SOTN is playable on PS4 right? Going to have to finally play that game. How's Metro Redux?

Negative.

So Capcom Arcade Cabinet says PS Now. Does that mean it's some crappy streaming based version of the game or is it perhaps a typo?

Bof3 is on psn
I even buigjt it months ago from psn.
Whaaaaat

EU or JP only maybe? 'Cause on the Canadian store, this is what I have:

Considering they changed the blatant Ultraman reference for the PSP version, it's likely that they can't rerelease the PS1 version.
The what now?

I don't think Xenogears has ever been on sale. Insta-buy.

I'm also wrapping up my time with InFamous and I'd suggest it at that price. The gameplay is fun although the story and side missions are a bit light. It can be a quick and beautiful romp through Seattle and I think Sucker Punch is a fantastic rising studio!

For a new service like PS2 games on PS4, I'm not arguing because ill pick them up but this is a real big fuck you to people who bought the GTA games on release not long ago.

Man, my PS+ lapsed, and I wanna get some of these deals, but the idea of paying full price on PS+ to save money on other stuff seems backwards. Any deals for PS+ goin' on?

Another note of "Get a Vita (PlayStation) TV" if you miss PS1 classics on PS4. I get more use out of my PTV than PS4 (until SFV comes out, especially).

It's the missing part of the PS4 that really could have been a standard pack-in by now.

Note that it works with Dual Shock 3 and 4s, and also allows local Multiplay on those PS1 games that support it (and even a few Vita games like Skullgirls).

I love the fact these sales not only apply to my greedy Vita play, but I can also share them with my brother as well locally, so we can relive or old days of co-op play on Chrono Trigger, or Battle Hunter (a classic PS1 favorite of ours).

Can it emulate the Multitap? Crash Team Racing with 4 players like it's 1999 sounds too good.

You can buy a month for $10 or 3 months for $18 if you just wanna get in on the prices.

i would gladly buy many of these psone games if i knew i'd have access to them on current and future ps hardware (ie. ps4 and beyond)
