Yep, there is barely a peep when Xbox Live is down. Maybe a 1-2 PG thread on Gaf with no MS shitposting and that is that.

Of course, I am not saying that should change. I just think there shouldn't be a big show if any of the services go down for a bit.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about hip-hop/rap culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like in pop music where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in the hip-hop/rap industry, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is hip-hop/rap fans, after hearing about this, are not going to want to purchase the all in one entertainment system Xbox one, nor will they purchase any of Microsoft's future consoles. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Bill Gates has alienated an entire market with this move.

Bill Gates, publicly apologize and fix Xbox Live or you can kiss your business goodbye.

It's mostly nonsense, same as the 'PS4 has no games' meme. They've both been near enough equally flaky this gen, though neither has actually been terrible either. I find the issues to be highly exaggerated.

I also don't know how much of the unreliability is to do with Sony or Microsoft themselves, and how much of it is instead to do with hackers and mass DoS attacks. Seems to be a lot more of that going on this gen, especially with the rise of LizardSquad and similar groups.
