Yeah people are telling me to tone my disagreement down. For shame.Lmao, 22 pages of tone policing. Not even surprised.

Because you're saying dumb shit like this, and this:Yeah people are telling me to tone my disagreement down. For shame.
You don't get it. You've never tried to understand what's going on here. It's been explained to you over and over and you're still trying to act like a victim here because people have more knowledge than you on this subject. You don't actually care.Yeah the whole point is that that blocking traffic for everyone (not just white people) isn't going to make people join in.
It doesn't matter what the cause is, I won't support this action.Because you're saying dumb shit like this, and this:

What part of this protest told you that these protestors wanted to win your heart?
And if I were mayor, I'd make sure it doesn't happen again.
It doesn't matter what the cause is, I won't support this action.
It doesn't have to be about being liked. Sorry I don't support fucking everyone's day and blocking key infrastructure for any cause.
And if I were mayor, I'd make sure it doesn't happen again.
Having police on the bridges prior to this to ensure people don't block traffic. Perfectly reasonable.I'd love to know how.
You're the only person here complaining about other opinions impacting you.Sorry a difference of opinion is so hard for you to swallow. That's life.
Likely using a friendly police unit..I'd love to know how.

I don't have a problem with people thinking this is okay. I respect a difference of opinions. You're the only person here complaining about other opinions impacting you.

Again, you're literally the only person here complaining that others don't like your opinion.I don't have a problem with people thinking this is okay. I respect a difference of opinions.
You clearly aren't reading.
Yeah people are telling me to tone my disagreement down. For shame.
It'd be fine if people would simply disagree rather than try to make personal attacks or blatantly misrepresent what I say.Dude, you're totally allowed to have this opinion. But people don't have to pretend that it's valid, and that you get to just drop that opinion into a fairness vacuum where basic empathy and understanding don't apply.
That's harsh, and I'm sure you're a good guy, but try coming at this from a different angle. You're focusing on the wrong injustice.
Having police on the bridges prior to this to ensure people don't block traffic. Perfectly reasonable.
Hey guys, why don't we post police in public places in advance to prevent those protesting police brutality from doing so? What could go wrong?

There were police at this protest, too. And every other protest and riot. Should they not do their jobs because police are the subject of the protest?Hey guys, why don't we post police in public places in advance to prevent those protesting police brutality from doing so? What could go wrong?
What if the people don't leave? Bring out the german shepherds?

Do bridges typically have the means to have fire hoses set up on them?
Who said I wouldn't? But that's one huge run on sentenceIf you were mayor, I'd be helpful if you watched your police force to make sure the greivances that lead to such a desperate population didn't occur in the first place instead of just being focused on putting down the rabble rousers because at that point you'd be like so many other government employees who allow strife to affect your city but are only cocerned about how annoying the people are rather than listening to their actual qualms

Bring out the high powered water cannon boats.
Oh and using said murdering forces to stop those looking to end the violence.
Great. Brilliant good sir, brilliant.
Hey guys, don't misrepresent what I'm saying, but if I were mayor I'd want the cops to "crack" *wink* some "skulls" *wink* then "shoot" some "black people"
Oh wait um oops
All cops are murderers?
10/10All cops are murderers?
Police will spank the protesters just like they spank their five-year-olds
with high-pressure water
They're not?!?! 😕All cops are murderers?
Who said I wouldn't? But that's one huge run on sentence
Do you think the Boston Tea Party was a good idea?
I've said plenty of times in this thread that I'm sympathetic to their cause. To the same poster I was even quoting, too.You didn't say shit about helping the people being harassed and murdered by police, the only thing you have bitched about so far is making sure those pesky protesters can inconvenience people. Oh and having your police force meet them there...

That's not what you said. Guarding a bridge to squash potential protests is not part of their job, yet it's what you would make them do.There were police at this protest, too. And every other protest and riot. Should they not do their jobs because police are the subject of the protest?
All cops are murderers?
Hypothetically, yes.
Squash? I didn't say that. That's not what you said. Guarding a bridge to squash potential protests is not part of their job, yet it's what you would make them do.
Not that I trust US police to do what is considered their job, well, especially when it comes to things like this.

The poster just doesn't care. It's easier to argue that way.
Squash? I didn't say that.
means what then? And if I were mayor, I'd make sure it doesn't happen again.
Is this all just a "I didn't use that exact word" semantics game?Squash? I didn't say that.
If I were Mayor, I'd take further action to make sure that protests like these do not continue to happen in my city. I'd do that by implementing reforms while simultaneously making sure large groups of people do not impede traffic for hours on end.
Can you imagine the disaster if people stormed the traffic tunnels to NYC?
And if I were mayor, I'd make sure it doesn't happen again.
All cops are murderers?
Who said I wouldn't? But that's one huge run on sentence
Squash? I didn't say that.
Why do you keep doing this? You can disagree with the method of protest and also still sympathize. Not liking the method of protest doesnt mean youre a racist, as much as many posters in here will try to push. You didn't say shit about helping the people being harassed and murdered by police, the only thing you have bitched about so far is making sure those pesky protesters can inconvenience people. Oh and having your police force meet them there...

Of course, that is the kind of thing that makes MLK proud, not like these road blocking thugs.
