The Division - 15 minutes of new gameplay

We can shut off the god awful numbers popping from damage right?

I think it's pretty cool that option even exists on the console.

Massive really aren't fucking around when they say that the technical side of the game is a matter of pride to them.
That is true. More games should have options on consoles, like preset 30fps and 60fps settings.

CA still enemy of all visuals, but it depends how intruding it really is in this.

You really don't ever need on screen numbers honestly until the very end if you want to min-max and do checks, a health bar is enough to gauge how much damage your doing to someone. Numbers flying everything is really annoying and so fucking glad we can turn that off. It will be the first thing turned off along with CA.

Well, if it's anything like destiny and certain enemies have weak points, and it is super helpful to know where and when you are doing critical damage and when you are doing less than desired damage.

That is unless of course the weak spot will always be the head, as Division is obviously more grounded in reality what with all human enemies and whatnot.

If the numbers didn't exist there'd be 10 times more people complaining that they should be in this type of game in this day in age. But yea, options are good.

I really can't wait for this game after bathing in all the new info. I personally think it's way more my type of game than Destiny.

Still dont get why devs put CA in games. What is even the good thing about it?
I assume it's one of the attempts to be "filmic," like when they put in film grain. Yet like with film grain the majority who use it go absolutely overboard with it.

I think it adds a bit to the experience in some cases. I quite like it in motion in Bloodborne - it helps the dream/nightmare vibe, but it looks like shit when standing still . Witcher and GTA5 also had some subtle CA, which worked pretty well. Dying Light on the other hand was awful with it.

As long as it's an option to toggle it off, I don't mind it.

Bah I cancelled my Pre Order...because I went ahead and pre ordered the Gold Edition!

I did enough research already to know exactly what to expect and to know what I'm buying so I will stick with the game in the long run.

I wonder what boosts the National Guard Set Backpack will provide...

I did the same.

Gold Edition hype!

Internet says it will be "Go Bag (with increased Armor Perk)".

The others seem to be:
Police: Increased Ammunition Capacity
Paramedic: Increased Healing
Firefighter: Increased Fire Resistance
Hazmat: Increased health skills

I don't think that is the menu options from the consoles. PC version with controller inputs?

No because of that one leaked PC vid. CA is under this big list. And he was playing with mouse and keyboard.
For the rest we only have seen Xbox footage. :)
