not really giving them out but considering the odds of The Division being bundled with NVIDIA cards is pretty high the PC version will be really cheap compared to the console versions

Ubisoft has to go through extreme price protection to justify Uplay. They will generally sell their Uplay keys at an extreme discount to attempt to prop up their service. Which is ironic considering they are giving far more than Valve's 30% cut on Steam to do so.

They are not literally giving away keys.

I'm most likely going to go through one of these key trading sites that leverages corrupt sellers in cheaper regions to get keys. End up saving even more money.

I'll dissent and say I think most people are going to be very disappointed in the game. I don't know if its going to be like the dec xbox alpha, but only one story mission is available and all the perks and talents are locked out. The dark zone is open.

I thought the gunplay was more like GTA 5 than call of duty, battlefield, or destiny. ie the worst gun controls of all FPS games. Content seems extremely light, the story mission(s) are fairly easy and short and the dark zones are just a clusterfuck of open world PVP with moderately fast respawn timers - I think 10 secs first time and it goes up to 30 secs?

I've already preordered on PS4 (best buy) and will play for a month but I am getting vanilla Destiny vibes, where the main story is short and not very good, and the "content" consists mostly of just running around doing essentially public events for scraps. I hope the betas this weekend are more expansive and prove me wrong. I would definitely be worried about hackers just owning everything outright on PC, since Ubisoft doesn't have a lot of experience with MP games on PC. I guess people who play R6 a lot could chime in and say if hacking is bad on there or if Ubi has a good handle on it.

You might be right. My two main concerns are the gunplay and the amount of content.

I know the "world" they created will be fun for me to explore just based off videos.

They seem to be holding their cards close to their chest in regards to the scope of content in the game. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. If not, *shrugs* it was only $40.

I fucking LOVE snow, I love detailed environments and exploring them. This game is made for me. I mean,have you guys looked at the details in these videos? There's tons of stuff to just look at, there are "documents" and "intel" to find and the echos too.

I told my friend earlier,I basically just want to walk out of the base, walk up to him and then we both walk through the devastated streets of New York while checking every nook and cranny.

in those cases I always look for the cheapest copy since not having the +1 on Steam doesn't bother me

Gunplay is much better than gta5 (which is ass). It's more along the lines of ghost recon future soldier (same cover system too).

Since the source of their Division keys is "Authorized Distributor" not "Ubisoft" and they make no mention of the beta, i'm going to say no.

Wow, it's £23 on CD Keys, PC games are super cheap. So if I bought it on there, I could get the game and all the DLC for £40.

It's $34 here in the U.S. and that might be too cheap for me to pass up. That price my have made the decision of PC over PS4 although I do wonder if it would have longer legs on PS4 since I think the overall player count will be higher there to start with.

I think the NVIDIA RotTR promo ends by the middle of February...if The Division is gonna get bundled I'd imagine we'd find out in the next couple weeks
