What devs post on GAF these days? A lot of indy guys do when they've got a game to sell, but even in the short time I've been here I've seen a drop off in actual dev interaction.

The tendency to dogpile them over every tiny little drama ( which isn't a problem unique to GAF) has made engagement limited.

Loads, they just lie low and don't make it known. Usually the lack of actual dev talk is due to not want to risk breaking contract.

because more often than not on reddit it's community managers, industry figureheads or indie devs people who aren't as beholden to contracts or its their job to communicate with the community at large, not your day to day programmer / artist / designer. plus reddit is a much bigger community so ofcourse there are more devs/ dev involvement there
