Street Fighter V Roster Discussion |Thread 2| Deal with it & place your hope for DLC

I see Birdie has been taking tips from Triforce.

Not that I know of. They've been really hush-hush about the guy.

Honestly, I'm starting to get the feeling that he's the final boss. Necalli will likely have a big role to play, but as others have mentioned, FANG will probably be the guy pulling the strings from the shadows.

Sleeper agent for the Illuminati, guaranteed to be in SF6?????

There's obviously some major thing with him that's making Capcom be reserved about showing much of the guy. Story relevant win-quotes, etc.

Destroying Shadowloo from within.

Extremely hyped for SFV but I have a few questions:

I read earlier that there were exclusive pre-order bonuses from Gamestop, like the "Hot Dad" Ryu outfit. Is that seriously the only way to get that outfit?

Just curious because I want all of the Street Fighter (except for the LE release of the game). I just want all the digital goods.

The pre-order costumes will likely be available for purchase at around March or so.

As of right now? Yeah.

But they'll likely to start giving the option to buy the costumes a couple of months or so after release.

That Laura alt and Cammy pre-order I really want. Stone-man Necalli looks pretty cool too.
Playing the beta on the weekend has made me want to play SFV now. I wasnt in a rush to play before that experience.

I REALLY hope the preorder costumes don't cost alotta fight money... It's looking like I'm getting the Bison one from Amazon even though I REALLY want the sexy Chun-Li and Cammy preorder costumes on day one!

I've found most of the alts bad so far besides Necalli and Rashid. Funny enough the pre order skins look great.

I wouldn't say lazy. I see it as capitalism. Give out terrible (lazy) skins for free (fight money,) but also create "premium" alts that can only be purchased with zenny (real money.) Brilliant (devious) plan to rake in money.

Because of this of course lol.

No skin off my back. I only plan on spending fight money on Nash and maybe a side character. If I can't earn it, I don't need it and so far I haven't seen anything worth spending it on. I'm sure there will be in the future though.

Have they released FANG's moveset yet, like this?

Speaking of movesets and lists like these, I'd really like to have an option to somehow see my character's move inputs on-screen while I train, meaning I don't have to pause and access it via a menu (which usually means I forget the inputs by the time I've managed to practice one new move and have to pause again to look up the rest). This would be especially handy for training with new characters for which you don't know any moves yet.

Maybe they could display them on the sides like they do with inputs themselves? Or did I miss a setting / option somewhere?

I know VF has command training. Maybe they have a patent on it?

was akuma playable in the Japanese arcade launch ver of SF4? i know he was hidden and had to be unlocked in the console... im starting to wonder if maybe the story mode DLC will have a hidden unlockable character 'decapre' maybe?

He was a timed unlock along the other bosses.

I think I'm going to main Birdie and Chunli come release. I was feeling Rashid before and won alot in Beta 3, but I seem to suck with him on Beta 4.
