Nobody ruins my family vacation but me...and maybe the boy!
That is pro choice.

Pro choice means yes and no. Pro-life means no or very little exemption

I agree(that it's pro-choice), but pro-life insinuates that the opposing view is anti-life, which is why I take exception to it.

Dumbass co workers actually just said Rubio was probably the only one who sounded good and confident during the debate.

Yep I always knew that I was surrounded by idiots.

Eh, he dialed it down. He is strangely calm and giving relatively good answers to some questions. He looks like he has empathy. It's REALLY weird.

Jesus, really? This is the first time my SO has seen him talk and I started an argument about how he's a horrible person. Go figure it's when I'm not watching he behaves.

For me this is less of a religious issue than one of personal ethics. Obvious cases like rape notwithstanding, I believe you should be ready to accept the consequences of any sexual relationship you willingly enter into, and would always advocate for adoption rather than abortion. Yet at the same time, that's really just me, and I refuse to judge any woman or couple for coming to a different decision. Ultimately, I feel that's what pro-choice is all about.

not to get too off topic, but here's the deal here.

The same people that tend to advocate "pro life" policies are ALSO huge fans of "abstinence only" education and shutting down planned parenthood. Instead of teaching teens to be responsible, educating them on sexual health and practices and providing access to contraception, they simply adopt a "don't do it, don't talk about it" position.

This is absolutely does not work well with the concept that these are people who willingly entered into a sexual relationship and just "decided" to be reckless. Do we just throw keys at people who want to drive and just say "don't crash?"

People are searching for Rubio in NH to find out about the mauling Christie gave him.

I totally understand what you're saying. It is a very emotionally charged issue due to the inherent sensitivity present. In the end, I am pro-choice, though with some sadness.

People who are 100% against abortion in any and all instances at least are consistent. Saying "Abortion is the systematic murder of children....but I'll make some exceptions" just makes you look like a bigger asshole.

How?

One can say that they are fine with abortion until brain activity starts, or something similar. After all, a fetus at 10 weeks and a fetus at 25 are widely different. I've heard that before even though I don't use it.

Good job calling people assholes.
