Most of the base who watch debates at home seem to know the audiences are mainly the elites of the party. They certainly aren't filled with Tea Party types. So him calling out the crowd helps him with the base.

More importantly it will help him with people who are tired of these "donors" trying to steer their opinions and control their lives. Trump is clearly the most anti establishment candidate and his willingness to publicly expose BS like this will help him once he enters the primary.

Oh, and I'm convinced that Ted Cruz is still cheating, somehow, to stay anywhere near to the top of the polls. Who is funding that guy?

In the first half of the debate he went full-on Macro Robot. Then in the second half of the debate he was visibly sweating buckets in glorious HD. The rest of the candidates were dry as a bone, so he can't chalk it up to hot stage lights. It literally looked like Rubio's circuit boards were overheating, which was causing his synthetic skin to melt.

If I was a Republican I would be concerned that he would literally explode if he got in a debate with Hilary Clinton. One of the key attributes of an establishment candidate is the ability to at least hold their own in the presidential debates. After tonight, Rubio now appears as a political lightweight who has trouble thinking on his feet.

pretty simple. the implication is that veterans are leaving the military and that young people are not joining the military because the Vets aren't being treated as well as they should be. that if vets were treated better, more people would want to join rather than having to be drafted.

He really would if he could. He pisses off conservatives but they're never gonna vote for him anyways. Among Democrats he is insanely popular. He'd win in a landslide, especially against anything the Republicans can run this cycle.
