I think this list illustrates how unfortunate Bryan's health issues are. His body of work in the WWE isn't particularly impressive in contrast to his ability, and he would've had a lot more to give over the next few years. More matches with Reigns, Lesnar, Undertaker, Cena, Rollins, Ambrose, Owens, and possibly others. It's definitely a career cut short.
It's a shame he couldn't change his style. He strikes me as someone who never needed all the flashy moves because he had good fundamentals. All the flashiness that fans love these days isn't what creates memorable moments.

Even with as much as we've crossed paths, I have to agree. He may have a sense of humor that not everyone gets, but he wouldn't make light of this.

NXT touring more routinely actually makes sense to help transition the guys up to the main roster and its fucked beyond hell schedule. Less of a shock to the system.
That said, they really need to rotate wrestlers in and out in a pre-designated seasonal rotation for their own benefit and to keep the product fresh. Plus, it would force them to map out builds in advance like they did in the old days which they're completely resistent against doing.

The Bryan thing is odd for me. On one hand, I'm happy for him that he's out of limbo and there is a final decision in all of this drama. On the other hand, he's been my favorite active wrestler for nearly a decade since I first saw him on an ROH show.
2006 was a low point for me. I was really hating WWE at the time and knew nothing of the alternatives. I discovered TNA about that time, and with TNA came many new wrestlers like Homicide and AJ Styles. Those lead me to Ring of Honor and I fell in love with Bryan almost immediately. He was what I wanted in a wrestler and never saw a match that disappointed. That carried on into WWE, even with all the BS that he had to deal with early on. When he finally got his runs at the top, it was amazing. I saw 18 seconds live and felt robbed, as I wanted Bryan to show what he could do at Mania....but in hindsight it was genius. Then we got Wrestlemania 30 and it was legit one of the most magical moments I have seen in wrestling. I'm happy and sad at the same time. Happy that he's finally able to end the limbo his career has been in and move on with life and sad that one of my favorites that got me back into wrestling during a dark time has retired.

I think they're savvy enough not to do that. Brie-Charlotte-Flair-Steph-Triple H? Sure. Reigns? No. (Outside of leading the locker room out from the back to YES chant in tribute.)
They've been intentionally dialing down the Reigns uber-push pre-Fastlane so it'll seem fresh and exciting again for the Reigns-Triple H Mania build.
This is factually correct. At least on the main roster.
You can make an argument for Bayley's win over Sasha in NXT.
Those are always riveting. Glad they trot that angle out every month in place of developing an actual storyline or feud.
Eddie's win over Barack Lesnar and Batista winning the title at Wrasslin'Mania 21 eclipse that moment for me. I don't even care for Bryan's journey at that event. As far as I'm concerned, Brotista should've won the title, and then dropped it at Wrasslin'Mania 31 to Roman Reigns after a one year run.
The only good thing about that entire debacle was the video package.

I'm presuming that Roman was heel there (i barely had the sound on)? If so, he was far more convincing and looked really good towards the latter half of the match.
