There have been a lot of good video packages over the years. People seem to have forgotten most of them however, and only remember the ones they've seen in recent times, barring The Rock and Austin.

No it didn't. That was stupid and shouldn't have happened (and they know it, because they edited it out), but was immediately forgotten and they've continued on just fine. The sudden insertion of Brie into the Divas title picture after being a jobber an non-entity for years is going to be an ongoing problem, however.
Giving up the business has kept Stone Cold looking good.

Watching wrestling has that effect on the Human brain.
More interested in Fast Lane than Wrasslin'Mania 32 at the moment. That Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Barack Lesnar match is going to be great. I just can't see Jimmy Haitch vs. Roman Reigns being better. This is the closest match to Barack vs. Reigns I'll get until next year most likely.

The head butts in that match and the ramming of heads into the ring post are not comfortable to watch.

That Daniel Bryan thread is unfortunately exactly how I thought it would be. Staying away from that nonsense.
He's also had an extraordinary amount of close focus on his health compared to a lot of his colleagues. He's been under the microscope, while other wrestlers just disappear for a while after a concussion and come back later with relatively no fuss.
Yeah he's beat up, but he's also at the very center of a larger issue with WWE and they can't afford to take a risk on this. So it's column A and B.
No doubt that it will be tremendous for his personal health and the minds of his family if he full out hangs up his boots. I'm also happy someone I admire can have chance of living comfortably. But WWE does this stuff primarily for their themselves. Concern for Bryan is a completely secondary piece to this. Just look at their history and WWE has proved time and time again their intentions are never out of pure good will.
Also if they truly gave a shit about the well being of their performers their schedules wouldn't be so physically grueling and fucked up.

I feel like people tend to overlook that the actual feud was booked like arse thanks to that angle, My Way and that sitdown promo really salvaged things.

I'm honestly pretty paranoid that the WWE (Vince) is gonna use Daniel Bryan's situation as a reason for why they should never push the indie icon to the moon ever again. Kind of like the self-fulfilling prophecy of booking Mysterio like a joke after his world title win, and then using that to vindicate the thinking that giving a little guy the belt would be a huge mistake.

I have long given up on any long term good happening with the company until after Vince retires.
Until then we will get random sparks of greatness but they will always be screwed up within 2 PPV's.
Vince is gonna get his way till he dies.
He burned money with wasting Bryan so he could push his musclemen.
Things won't change completely until he dies and even then Steph is going to be there.
At least HHH wants to get his product over.
I mean a lot of their incoming wrestlers are now mostly "indie stars".
Current indies are sort of a smaller and more compartmentalized version of the territories. WWE is plucking top talent from other organizations just as they used to do. It's how the WWF became the giant it came to be in the first place. They've failed with lot of homegrown talent over the last decade plus. NXT is them culling existing talent like the old says.
Vince's all encompassing obsession with Roman puts everything else in the back seat right now when it comes to booking. Not just indie favorites.
The current booking and writing is the biggest danger to WWE's future, not Vince's love for big guys.
Sunny shouldn't feel that bad or responsible for his ban. Nobody knew posting Minions was a bannable offense, it was a fun joke based on an avatar-bet and usig it for Boots as a bat-signal for deathmatch gifs.

Good recommendations. I was hoping some good promos would get thrown around. I studied video editing in college hooping to make stuff like that.
I could have sworn that early last year NXT didn't have to tour so much. But now it seems like every week they are touring somewhere new now instead of just the north Florida area.
Yes NXT used to have a very light schedule. It's picked up considerably now that they tour more regularly.
WWE main roster schedule is beyond fucked.
