NY Daily News continues their tradition of mocking Trump and his wackadoodle supporters.

I love the Daily News so much some times.

@Joseph100960 @cjmab28 the GOP turnout is up even more if you compare to '08

Trump is going to have veto-proof majorities and seven conservative Supreme Court justices at this point during his re-election campaign.

Democrats will continue to be mystified by the concept of a primary, congressional, or stateside ballot

lol

????

I certainly had issues with some of the stuff coming out of the Clinton campaign in 2008 but I think you're really confused. The Clintons are still very popular within the Democratic party today.

Of course they are, they will always be popular, but their brand became seriously damaged at a time when they could least afford for it to be back then. If not for Obama's graciousness, a lot of people would still despise the Clintons for their tactics back in 2008. I see the Clintons yet again making similar mistakes now that they made against Obama. It may not ever make them not popular in the Democratic Party, but it can create enough animosity that enough Dems may not mind not supporting or voting against her during the nomination process.

People have to face facts that the Clintons campaign in a manner when it concerns Hillary's attempt to run for President, that is very polarizing and makes people who should normally love them, kind of despise them. There are a lot of Democrats, and you saw some of them being interviewed on TV prior to the NH primary, who feel very insulted by the way the Clintons are campaigning or talking about people who support Bernie Sanders. I don't really mind who wins between Bernie and Hillary; I just want a Dem in the White House, but it's hard to look on and not somehow be a little bit annoyed by the way Hillary's campaign is being run, and I'm starting to think the problem is at the top.

What do you mean? Serious question. This post scares me.

The Clinton's helped many of the democrats in power now become elected. You don't forget that favor. And if you do, it doesn't look good to others. They're just calling in their favors. Time to repay the debt. Imagine if you see someone renegging on their favor. Can you trust them if you have to decide to support or ask for their support in the future?

I'm really interested to see what Hillary does now. I fully expect Bernie to keep on doing what is already working, but her campaign is a mess right now. Next debate should be fun.

She was always expecting to lose NH. Probably will try and work on her younger voter numbers, and keep focusing on keeping minorities.

Democrats
Voting percentage reported 74%

Bernie Sanders 60%
Hillary Clinton 39%

Republicans
Voting percentage reported 75%

Donald Trump 34%
Marco Rubio 11%
John Kasich 16%
Ted Cruz 11%
Jeb (John E. Bush) 11%
Chris Christie 8%
Carly Fiorina 4%
Ben Carson 2%

WMUR hasn't updated in a while so I'm taking CNN's numbers.

Do you not agree that Clinton has a better chance in a general election against any republican opponent than Sanders? Because honestly not recognizing that requires a bit of cherry picking data.

Early head-to-head's have Sanders doing well against Republican candidates, but yeah, Hillary should have an edge in the general election. I'm not sure how voters will react to a self-described socialist, and I don't think Bernie always does a good job explaining himself.

There wasn't anything particularly unexpected with the results. Bernie did a bit better than expected, but there was no question on if he'd win or not

It's not Hilary that needs to do something. The states coming up are strongly in her favor. Right now the pressure is on Bernie to seize this momentum and use it to sway southern voters to his side.

Unless she starts to bleed minority votes to Bernie, I don't see her changing much about what she was originally going to do. What happened in NH was expected by pretty much everyone.

It's a fool's errand to court the younger voters. They're not going to get peeled from Sanders. They are also unreliable in the general with the worst turnout of any group. She needs to consolidate her rainbow coalition.

If she doesn't do a near sweep of super Tuesday states, then she can worry. If she does what she's expected to do from now until then, she wins the nomination in March.

If Bernie can gather momentum, then she has problems

No matter how this plays out, today will always be the day a reality tv star and a self proclaimed socialist both won a state primary.

I think we do need to step back and appreciate how historic this night is.

How well did Bernie do with women and minorities tonight?

http://www.nytimes.com/live/new-ham...n/bernie-sanders-wins-every-demographic-group

Senator Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton among nearly every demographic group in the Democratic New Hampshire primary, according to exit polls.

He carried majorities of both men and women. He won among those with and without college degrees. He won among gun owners and non-gun owners. He beat Mrs. Clinton among previous primary voters and those participating for the first time. And he ran ahead among both moderates and liberals.

Even so, there were a few silver linings for Mrs. Clinton. While Mr. Sanders bested her among all age groups younger than 45, the two candidates polled evenly among voters aged 45 to 64. And Mrs. Clinton won the support of voters 65 and older. And, though Mrs. Clinton lost nearly every income group, she did carry voters in families earning over $200,000 per year.

I think the media might want to downplay that last bit.

I think I know what you're talking about and I may agree with you but you're going to have to use specifics because you're being a bit vague here. I've seen mistakes out of the Sander's campaign as well so I'm not sure what to say in that regard - I don't think either campaign is ideal.

Depends, does it bring in more ratings at this point to tear down Clinton's campaign?

Or is it time to shift focus to the front runner?

I love it. Both party establishments are crapping themselves. The Clinton camp runs the democrats and they're losing to Sanders. The GOP can't control Trump and long hoped he'd fizzle.

This is great.

Haha. A young south carolina voter who said was a Bernie supporter just said she is now thinking of Clinton after her speech on CNN'S focus group. That sorta surprised the CNN moderator on the spot.
