It's something that Clinton probably should have foreseen, and had a bunch of names of more respected foreign policy wonks to talk about. Her response, I take input from all quarters, seems valid; but, is hard to sell.

If someone asks you how to deal with A-Qaeda and you only mention the CIA's support of the mujahadeen during the Soviet War then you have failed.
