Anyone here happen to have an Xbox live trial laying around? Doesn't matter how long it's good for. Just want to try out the Homefront beta

How do I go about getting a refund on shipping from a marketplace seller on Amazon when the item will miss the estimated delivery date by like a week? (I paid $13 for "quick CP shipping.)

pretty much. i said i was planning on cancelling sfv anyways but instead wanted to substitute it for a different game. i did mention that sfv did have a discount on it.

they did ask me multiple times what discount this was from and how much it was.

funny thing is that they asked me what the amount for the game was after the discount was applied. i had to open up the calculator and figure that out. lol

edit: i should point out he did say that it was an exception, so i wouldn't try to do it more for more than one game if you've never done it before.

This info is just good to know thanks. I have a preorder that I am not so keen on, it doesn't even have a release date yet so I could just pre order it again on the next E3.

some users here have asked amazon.ca csr's if they're planning on bringing the 20% prime preorder deal to canada, and some have said that yes it will be coming here eventually. So if that does come over, its more than likely that the 30% E3 sales will be discontinued.

Yeah you get the Windows 10 code by buying the game digital either from the Xbox marketplace or, if I read the info right, a code from a retailer.

It should on Best Buy. I'm not sure about the immediacy of it, but I know that would happen with doorcrashers around BD and BF. TVs would come back in stock sporadically as orders got cancelled. Although, if others have orders placed with that specific item in backorder it may just allocate the cancelled stock on to an order already in the system.

I asked a CSR if I could cancel my Hyrule Warriors Legends 30% off pre-order and apply it to Grand Kingdom LE. She stressed this isn't something they will normally do, but said would this time as an exception, and did so. She also included an addition $4 that I had also discounted on my HWL order (due to a promo gift certificate).

Edit: Oops, in doing so I accidentally lost my Twilight Princess HD discount (my orders for that + HWL were... weird. Two different orders, but connected for the promo). So contacted another CSR. He said he would apply it, but I still don't see a change. If nothing happens in the next week, I'll try again, I kept a transcript of that second chat.
 
Just saw that my SFV shipped from Richmond and I'm in fucking QC...

I was hoping to get it early but now I wouldn't be surprised if it's late...

I've tried 5 different CSRs today and none would do it, they also claim that they can't add items to an existing order anymore
 
I'm getting antsy about SF5 and may end up getting it on both systems just to be sure

it's too bad, in sudbury for some reason there was a superstore that broke street dates on capcom games all the time. Dunno if they even sell games anymore. Certainly don't know where to look for urley SF5 in etobicoke
 
I spoke to an amazon csr just now to request that my preorder for FE: Fates SE be shipped in a cardboard box with bubble wrap instead of a regular bubble envelope. I told him that one of my previous orders (xenoblade chronicles X) was sent in an envelope and arrived damaged.

he was a nice guy said that he would send a request to the packaging team that they please put the item in protective wrapping before sending it out. he also asked for the order number for the damaged xenoblade, and told me he added a note about the damaged order as well.

Whether or not they actually do it and ship the game with better protection is one thing, but it was nice to hear that they'd take my request seriously.




not going to lie though, i was refreshing the orders page hoping that he didn't accidentally cancel my order. lol
 
Or hope they don't cancel the whole order when you ask for help to cancel one thing.

I have Fates Conquest and #FE in an order together so I'll just let Conquest ship and then return it in-store (out of fear that cancelling Fates will remove my 30% off #FE).

I just need an update on amazon Fates SE. Also I could use a preorder for Bravely Second normal edition because screw the CE. Magnolia ain't worth it and I'll import the artbook when the dollar recovers (LOL)
