Ah, ok. Technically the game belongs to my girlfriend so I guess only her account gets it (both accounts are on the same PS4)

Ah yeah, that might be it. You should check hers to see if it is there to be sure but yeah, I was just about to select it immediately on PS4.

Ooooh do all regular copies come with the Twitch sub or just ones from Gamestop?

That could be really useful come EVO time.

Oh didn't even know this department existed. Do you have the number by any chance?
Nah, just call their customer service (1888-237-8289) and play around with the automated voice until you get to an agent, explain your problem and they will lead you to digital services

Working on survival with Karin, button mashing like a champ.. Improved in normal from 23 to 26th stage.

Im sweating like im sitting in a sauna, damn nerves will gimme heart attack when going ranked online :(

Two quarter circle forward motions + punch

hmmm that doesn't work for me - only way I can do it is wiggling the stick back and forth in the down forward quarter while pressing punch a couple of times x'D

Turn on inputs in training mode, do it cleanly. If you're just wailing the stick around, it's not gonna be any use in an actual fight. :P

If you get nothing else but characters I think it's very easy to get all 6 for this year. If you spend on costumes too then it will be a challenge.

I really wanna get consistent matchmaking but not gonna bother turning on the game until it starts working again. Offline is very boring. I just want to play ranked and level up.

I'm totally joking. This is the most unhype release I have ever contributed money to.

Ah, I see. I wasn't even planning on picking it up till Alex dropped and I could get it used. Only reason I grabbed now was my friend is footing the bill. This is really embarrassing that they put it out in this state at 60$.

Make sure to let the stick go back through the "neutral" area, you don't want to accidentally mix in another input. On a dpad it's pretty much the same, avoid any accidentally presses.

To make sure you're doing it right, just go into Training and check the input history.

i know, that's the issue!

what is the input supposed to say?

Down
Right Down
Left
Down
Right Down
Left + Punch
right?

Using a stick or pad?
Instead of wiggling it, do a quarter circle forward motion, twice. I know it sounds stupid but if you try and focus on doing a single motion twice instead of doing the whole thing at once, it'll turn out better.

C-Stick, hmmm I end up getting some arrows doubled sometimes even the Down Right Arrow - however that should be possible

Slow it down until you can make it not double or go in a wrong direction. Then speed it up gradually. Also don't forget to practice on doing it facing left AND facing right.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm having issues with my PS3 stick not being recognized once I go into a game. I'm literally just starting out and want to play survival and the mode only has control with the DS4 for some reason...

I registered the stick and navigated the menus with the stick but as soon as the survival fight starts I get nothing. It keeps switching controls to the DS4...halp?

Edit: Nevermind its randomly working now...what the hell lol.

Ok Gaf, I have installed the game and am now looking at a 6 gb patch. This won't get done before I have to go to work, so is there any downside to me playing in offline mode until tomorrow? I mean will nothing get saved or will it prevent me from getting fight money or gaining levels or something like that.

At this point it's obvious that all the story mode art was just scrawled on the back of a napkin while Bengus and Ono were at the bar
I actually kinda like it. I loved Bengus' previous art, all that's off are the proportions, I don't mind the bits where he's done it sloppily or quickly, just the massive boobs and painfully thin torsos on the girls is throwing me off, they're terrifying. Otherwise, the style is kinda cute

They should really call it prologue mode on the menu because that is far more descriptive.
Right? I realised this earlier, it really is just a quick insight into each character's motives and that's all - the fights are too easy as well, I'm not sure you can even change the difficulty either.

Capcom is struggling to make current gen games. Dead Rising 3 was Microsoft funded, Street Fighter V is Sony funded, Deep Down nowhere to be seen, etc.
I kinda had the image that they kinda ruled the competitive fighting game scene and business was good with SFIV being consistently played and stuff these last ten years. Plus they have a ton of merch bringing in money from their IPs and still have international offices so it can't be going that bad for them.

Damn, all excited to play some online matches after work, sitting here for 10 minutes looking for a casual match. Fucking pisses me off

That is so odd - even If I do it stupid slow I'll always get
down - downright - right - down - downright - right - right+punch ... so one right too much. I can do a kanzuki-ryu hokojutsu seppo in my sleep

edit: now finally did it perfectly (according to the input data)... in a normal speed any nothing happened.

You don't gain fight money when you're offline. You can unlock skin colors offline but any fight money you'd earn won't happen if you're offline.

Edit: I said offline a lot.

That busted PC network. I don't know how it is on PS4, but on PC I've been looking for a match for close to 30 minutes and nothing. I'm in Cali too..

Normal speed isn't fast enough :p
