Try shareplay if you're on PS4 and report back. I'm gonna give it a shot later tonight when I get home.

This works, I've played an hour with a friend and it went pretty well. Obviously the host has a slight advantage but it's better than playing the single player, uh, "content".

I think this is the most disappointing game I've bought in awhile. Especially because I was looking forward to it so much.

The only way I can get enjoyment out of it is if I have a group of friends who are all local and want to come over to play. That's not happening anytime soon.

I get that. I really like the game but man it is lacking in so many ways and that doesn't even figure in with the servers being garbage. I don't regret the purchase but I don't blame anyone who does.

My PC detects my PS3 SE joystick but none of the inputs register. Super weird, because I totally used the identical desktop to play USFIV with some gaffers a while ago; all that's changed since is a new OS and an SSD, which have been in place for a bit more than a year now. I'm totally perplexed!

I've tried all ports now and Windows doesn't even install the driver correctly when I use USB 2.0. So confused.

Yeah for real. I'm sure the game will be outstanding in...March, when it apparently should have come out.

What a travesty this has turned out to be. It's the perfect shitstorm of the game being hyped for a long time and then being released before it's ready, lacking content, and sporting broken online play. Sprinkle in some shitty stealth always-online design and lost progress due to network issues, and you've got one giant cluster of fuck.

Yeah for sure. With where games at I'm not surprised that Capcom (and probably Sony) rushed it out but as much as I've been chomping at the bit to play it I wouldn't have held it against them if they delayed it a month.

Man, the lack of modes really, really shows when there is no online functionality. That, and Survival Sucks ass for unlocking things

Honestly, why the heck did some of you preorder or buy this day one? Did you not realize what you were getting with a new fighting game? Most people could have told you that the online would have issues day one, and generally you shouldn't be buying a fighting game day one if you have no interest in learning the characters and playing the multiplayer. I know its low on content, but everything that was lacking was known well in advance, so to buy it on day one and be disappointed to the extent that some of the people here are is baffling to me.

Again, before anyone tries to say I'm defending legitimate issues, I'm not. Clearly it was rushed and it could have used a lot of polishing in certain areas, but I'm just trying to be realistic here. Capcom doesn't want to screw you over with these servers, this stuff is hard to maintain and it'll likely be sorted out soon (again, it's been less than a day). Lack of single player content was known beforehand and was never part of the appeal of this game.

The game doesn't support dinput. You have to use software to convert from dinput to xinput. Capcom said they would patch the game eventually to support dinput.

I'm on the fence about getting in at launch and watching the Giant Bomb QL.. holy shit this is a barebones $60 video game right now. Grinding for colors sounds nuts. Plus the network issues. I liked the gameplay from the beta I played well enough but I'm losing interest in jumping in at launch fast.

That busted PC network. I don't know how it is on PS4, but on PC I've been looking for a match for close to 30 minutes and nothing. I'm in Cali too..

Well this explains everything. Looks like I'll stick to survival in the meantime.
