You need to set your favorite character to decide who you play as in ranked and casual.

This a pretty well put together guide. If they somehow implemented these into the game in a future update it might help new players and those who are criticizing the games lack of information for players.

I really would rather use someone other than Fang when I'm playing Casual.

There wasn't a freakout *before* the ass slap was removed and no one has been able to produce an iota of evidence to the contrary. Of course, there was a freakout after the change because censorship + videogames + internet discussion forums = perpetual outrage machine.
Also, Infiltration was amazing to watch on Stream. I got a feeling for some of the stuff he did and I'm gonna try replicate and practice those moves.

When I fought a level 6 CPU Ryu in Training all he did was fireballs if I was out of footsie range. That's how I practiced my Nash anti-fireball game.
I've only gotten a couple, one was from Chile and the other one from Peru. Maybe we aren't getting matchmade outside of our region, I dunno. But it's bullshit regardless.

Any tips are appreciated. In 4 I played a strong pressure Bison but in this game he feels slow and like a tank.

It means 'cancel' so you are cancelling the prior move into the special. You can usually do the input right after the hit and it will cancel the last frames into the special.

I got my code yesterday after I picked up the game.
This is the sort of thing I was talking about in terms of prioritizing other modes instead of a tutorial mode if something has to be left out. No software development, QA, or testing to do, some some good basic info that is probably a fraction of the effort.

Found 2 matches in about 35 minutes, first was fine, second lagged as hell, this is setting the options to 5 bars only
(Waited about 8 hours, so called their support line. They put in a ticket and I received the code in about an hour.

Only had one server issue over the last few hours and finished my session by ending a 20 game winstreak for a Birdy whilst knocking him out of silver rank, which felt unbelievably good.
I'm liking Vega so far but I feel like both his V-skill and V-trigger are utterly ass. The skill's utterly useless and his trigger's like a terrible version of Nash's.

My favorite stages are the error messages.
Nah, jokes aside, I only like two stages. One is Karin's stage, the other is the one on the streets in China. I REALLY miss the beatiful and deserted steges of SFIV. The temples, and the one on the boat.
