It's crazy to think that the R nominee will be one of Trump, Rubio or Cruz. A year ago, none of them were thought to have a chance in hell against Scott Walker or Jeb!

Fox News Stephen Hayes. "This was a terrible night for Trump" Man, Fox News is bashing Trump hard saying he lost. They live in an alternate reality. Trump basically trashed the Iraq War and was viewed as having a terrible debate, but still won by a good margin.

They're trying to mobilize voters to vote against Trump.

If I can't vote for Bernie, than Trump gets my vote. I do want the person that will avoid war on moral reason (bernie) buy I'll take the "war is bad for business" Trump if it's my only choice

Thanks for fucking over non-white liberals.

Trump called out Bush and the Pope (!), and defended Planned Parenthood on a debate stage. Yet he still won South Carolina, one of the most Christian-right conservative states in the Republican field I've been told.

What does this say about the GOP right now?
And does it mean Trump literally can call anyone out and get away with it?

Nobody in South Carolina is Catholic, so insulting the Pope means very little.

Poll of Trump Supporters in SC found something like 95% of them support a permanent ban on muslim immigration and at least 40% would be in favor of a ban on Homosexuals.

GOP fucked up long term with the southern strategy. Trump is riding the southern strategy to the Nomination because its a large enough element to overpower any reasonable people when votes are divided.
Nixon's legacy finally bites them in the ass 40 years later.

I dunno, if Christie didn't go all in on Rubio I think he could have won SC. I can see it.

Man, I wonder how Christie feels knowing that literally no one likes him. Except Hillary supporters. :p

But Trump constantly says he's the "most militaristic person".

At this point I think these types of responses are just poor attempts at being funny or just trolling.

There's no way people can be this stupid.

Is that the same Trump who pledged to "bomb the shit" out of whatever country houses ISIS and who mocked Obama for refusing to bomb oil tanker trucks for fear of collateral damage?

I just cannot fathom how you will vote for Trump because your man Bernie won't be the nom. You don't care about ideologies at all. It's has to be some sort of troll.

As a black man I don't have that privilege. Not with this GOP field.

When Rubio talks about how conservatives will fight for everyone, you can almost hear the asterisk that excludes anyone who isn't straight, white, Christian, or male.

Lol, Rubio is Hispanic, Tim Scott standing beside him is African American, Nikki Haley also standing beside him is Indian, and a woman.

The number of white voters who the Democrats would lose to Trump would be tremendous.

Like I said before, anyone who calls him/herself a Bernie supporter and then ends up voting Trump never understood Bernie's message in the first place.

1. Trump is Wall St.

2. Hilary voted for the Iraq War as did many Democrats, she has since publicly said that was a mistake. Are you seriously going to bring up this tired 08' talking point?

Tired talking point? So everything she earnestly believed in before she decided to run for office in 2015 is just invalid? What a privilege she gets to enjoy.

Things get interesting now that Jeb dropped out. Trump is dominating now, but when it comes down to Trump vs Rubio vs Cruz, Rubio is going to get ALL of Jeb's converts. Cruz will get crushed once this happens, but it's not clear Trump comes out on top. And knowing the GOPe, if it's even remotely close they will do underhanded shit like with GWB to fudge numbers and get the establishment candidate out on top.

So Trump is not even close to being home free yet

Lol, Rubio is Hispanic, Tim Scott standing beside him is African American, Nikki Haley also standing beside him is Indian, and a woman.

So? The policies they put forward are universally bad for minorities. Rubio and Cruz are both Latinos who are tripping over themselves to see who can deport more people. Carson thinks talking about racism is a bigger problem than racism itself. Just because they are minorities doesn't mean they care about minorities.

Agreed and at this point I don't even care if those posts are in jest. Trump at this point could very well be the republican nominee.

Lets say Hillary vs Trump. It becomes a race issue, a human rights issue. Like I honestly believe anyone who willingly votes for Trump just doesn't give two flying fucks about people.

I don't need to bring it up. Trump will, and it will bring out voters for him that would never vote for Cruz or Rubio in the General.

Man, Hilary winning would be depressingly bittersweet.

I mean, I hope you guys still vote for her if it comes down to her and any Republican, but she always came off to me as a sort of slimy opportunist. The best fictional comparison I can think of is the Underwoods, thats who she reminds me of. Or on a more realistic note, Carcetti from The Wire... another "progressive" who only really sought to further his own career. Although I was disappointed in him, even Obama came off as genuine opposed to Hillary. Hillary still loves Wall Street, she still will try to implement some pseudo-Free Health care that isn't really free... I feel like in the end, she will still be to the right of our very own Stephen Harper.

If Hillary does win (which is looking more and more likely...) I hope Bernie at least inspired more socialists to rise within the Democratic party, because honestly its only getting more and more extreme from here.
