Uncharted 4 delayed two weeks to May 10

I'm not upset or anything, but I don't understand why people are saying things like "get a grip" or "let's overreact" sarcastically. How many times has this title been delayed now? I'm all for a great product and can't wait to play, but I can understand why people are mad, I'm not throwing stones at them since they are right.

They gave the reason in the OP and arne gave the reason.

Oh I know but people are acting that reason isn't valid. Even I'll admit it's kinda odd but I don't know the logistics of everything or what ND want to accomplish.

I'm sure ND don't want to keep delaying this game because they know it isn't a good look, but it won't matter once it starts reviewing well and we have it in our hands.

"Usable graphic" != "Good graphic"

I scheduled my vacation around uncharted... I imagine trying to change it would be like pulling teeth. I wish I could change it to start on the day dark souls 3 comes out.

In the end, people will believe what they want to.

Just seems dumb to complain about not getting a better/polished game. Imo

This fits perfectly for me. Gives me 4 weeks to play Dark Souls 3 and Ratchet before UC4 and a couple weeks to play UC4 before Mirror's Edge.

At the end of the day. It's just video games. I understand the frustration. We all want to play this but it's a 2 week delay.

It's true, but damn does it sting right now.

Same week as DOOM, my eyeballs are going to fall out of the sockets.

Failing to see how extra manufacturing time = something is rotten. Shawn's post lays it out how it is.

But if you know there are x amount of playstations out there then you know roughly how many discs to press beforehand. I would have thought a group specifically forecasts demand weeks before release.

This isn't about polishing the game. Read the blog post.

Did I say it was? Read both of our posts again, I explicitly made a distinction between there being an issue with the game itself and any other factors. If the poster wasn't happy with the 'excuse', maybe solace should be taken that, with the game itself, there isn't anything at odds being reported.

More like Limited Edition production issue?
Simply printing Blu-Ray disks & manuals and making other things must take different timeframe.

Not a big deal since April has a bunch of games. Still though ND isn't exactly great with meeting release dates they set after this game and TLOU. I guess if any studio has the pull to ask for delays it's them, especially after the crunch of UC3.

It's not being polished anymore, this is post-production.

Totally with you on that. I had a release conflict with Stranger of Sword City releasing on the same day, so now I'm good. But it's a bad image if you just keep pushing your product back like this. I feel like it would have just been better for them to keep the release date under wraps until they had something solid.

The game will (supposedly) release in May and that will be that. If this was another extensive delay, sure, but it is 2 weeks. 2 weeks.

Throw around some Ubi art jokes and call it a night. :P

Naw, everyone trusts ND.

Its just, extra manufacturing time? I've personally never heard of that before. I think thats why everyone is just like "wtf?"

Can't imagine what those two weeks will look like at naughty dog at that time. I have waited this long so two weeks Is nothing to me

This one is extra annoying because it's so short and announced so close to release but two weeks isn't long. This and Doom in the same week is bliss.

The game underwent a rather heavy change in terms of development though when Amy Hennig left and Druckman and Straley took over.
It's only natural

There are more and more unfinished games coming out lately, or logistics that have been fucked up with missing stuff or bad handling of preordered numbers.

Just give them some time.
For those who took some holidays it's surely something those people need to vent about, but apart from that people need to calm down...

Unless they have updated forecasts that say they should print more.
