Fine by me. Plenty to play in the meantime and a perfected U4 as a result.
I don't know why man but after reading the OP, E.T. kept popping up in my head. Hopefully this game won't bomb and disappoint us (probably not since it looks very amazing so far). The only problem with Uncharted 4 is that there is literally TOO much demand.
Its 2 weeks what do you expect them to do in that time? That can easily be taken as a bad excuse to delay the game.
It might be true, but that sounds better than "we need to delay the game yet another time to make it as good it can be".
The 3rd delay is said to be to manufacture more copies and Arne came by and reiterated that. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that's something ND has control over and the link says that the game is still on track to go gold at the end of the month...Three separate delays for a game from a studio that was previously known for hitting their release dates (with the exception of TLoU seeing a single delay) is an indication to me of at the very least poor management. Three separate delays is straight up something you would expect from small inexperienced studios not cornerstone first party studios. Regardless of the reasons behind these delays seeing a major hallmark studio delay a game three separate times seems pretty damn suspect to me.
"To make sure more people can play it on Day 1" is a weird way to put it. They're making it so nobody can play it on 'Day 1' and are releasing it on 'Day 14'.![]()
Now, if the numbers are not anything impressive, imma be like, "HMMMM...".yeah same this game is going to make numbers
this is top 5 gimmick post right now

I am really dont get this.
Two more weeks to play Dark Souls 3!
I wouldn't say nobody. Large world-wide releases mean someone will post a complete Let's Play long before May 10th."To make sure more people can play it on Day 1" is a weird way to put it. They're making it so nobody can play it on 'Day 1' and are releasing it on 'Day 14'.![]()
No it was not.Well, the March to April delay was also 2 weeks
I think it was actually a little more than a month.Well, the March to April delay was also 2 weeks
Well, the March to April delay was also 2 weeks
But it definitely helps Ratchet.
I always thought launching two Sony 1st party titles simultaneously in a non launch period timeframe very wacky.
Space those out.

I'd rather five months of a delay than five months of insufferable complaints on GAF over some unpolished shit from releasing a game before it's ready. Hell, people are STILL complaining about the Uncharted 3 aiming fiasco. It's 5 months, we'll live.its more like 5 months at this point
No it was not.
No fuck! Goddammit! I'll be overseas between May 7 and 14, so I won't get to play it until I get back.
Goddammit, ND

My fault, mixed up the dates. But my point that the manufacturing reasoning can be taken as a bad excuse still stands. We can argue back and forth, but I simply don't believe that PlayStation did not anticipate the game selling gangbusters.
le sigh

You could bring an empty PS4 case and put the U4 sleeve in it when it releases.Nolan North and Troy Baker are going to be at a comic convention near me on April 28, and I was hoping to get my copy signed! Looks like I'm bringing The Last of Us instead.
Stop it with that crap.
