Uncharted 4 delayed two weeks to May 10

wait, really?

I mean, what could they possibly do in two weeks aside from fix a game-breaking bug they found? I can't see them pushing it back for just two weeks for more polish. I think this is fine, it's only two weeks, and it means we get a better game in the end. Y'all gotta chill.

It's explained in the OP. more manufacturing time.

lol don't even care anymore. I have it pre-ordered so I'm just going to ignore UC4 related stories from here on out and when the UPS guy shows up with it on release day, whenever that may be, I'll play the ever-loving shit out of it. I have confidence in ND that it'll be a great game. Playing it later than previously thought isn't going to change that.

well, was he right or was he wrong

Don't get me wrong because I support the dudes by listening to their podcast and I've followed them for a while thru IGN, but the dude is not the video game industry messiah, nor is he a Nostradamus of any sorts. He's been wrong as many times as he's been right.

It just really rubs me the wrong way when I see that hashtag.

My fault, mixed up the dates. But my point that the manufacturing reasoning can be taken as a bad excuse still stands. We can argue back and forth, but I simply don't believe that PlayStation did not anticipate the game selling gangbusters.

I can only speculate but I think the manufacturing thing is an excuse with a half truth in it.
They're probably and unexpectedly triple checking their assets after the stolen Ubisoft artwork gaffe of the other day, hence the submission date of the master copy to manufacturing has been delayed too close to release date and they have not enough time to manufacture and ship enough copies to cover anywhere close the anticipated sales.

So glad that I forgot to request days off for work a couple of days ago like I was planning to. Now I'm kind of afraid to even request off for May 10th. Who knows if it will come out then or not.

After watching the story trailer and describing my theory for the twist, I joked with my wife how if I post it on Neogaf, there'd probably be an announcement for a delay if it were true to change things up.

Nate locks himself in with the secret treasure for the end game and kid flashbacks are revealed to be flashforwards of baby Nates looking for daddy's secret.

So I wonder which part was right... or both? =P

I'm going to break my own record and play this game over a month before its release. Another record that SFV couldn't break. Oh-hoh snap.

But no, it's a shame. Real shame with all these delays and the delayathon and all that. It's only been happening for years and years now. But as Jimmy would say, it's what's best for business.

My birthday is April 23rd though. My birthday wish to have an open weekend of no wife and kid and no responsibility to play. :( :( :(

Delayed two more weeks? That means Dark Souls 3 new game+ for me. Thanks ND.

I think Drake's kid ends up being Arnold from Hey Arnold and that's the ending for UC4, with his parents going out and never returning.

Ah, blessing in disguise. I would have had to shelve DS3 until I beat U4 because it takes me weeks to finish Souls games.

Not bad.

Ratchet and Clank and Quantum Break for april it is then.

Now I'll have to wait even more because I'll be travelling to a different country that week and won't have my ps4 with me.

So instead of getting this game for my birthday, I'll be playing it on May 17th. Damn you Druckman.
