Uncharted 4 delayed two weeks to May 10

Lol.
I don't know about the game quality wise. But ND is dropping the ball when it comes to release scheduling for this thing.
They're probably removing some copyrighted material.

I was kinda dissapointed but if it's just 2 weeks I don't mind. April was going to be Dark Souls month anyway

Mabye it isn't a real game.
They have spent all this time making cool trailers to sell Ps4's but will just keep delaying the game forever.
 
This is dealbreaker for me. It is the last drop, the last straw that breaks the camel's back. I am really concerned with one of my most awaited games ever since this is a certified red flag that something is defo wrong, it screams development issues. And another beta on the way. Why? Was one not enough? I had the utmost respect for ND and mr Druckmann in particular but now after these delays...it is too much so fuck you Sony. I'm considering selling my ps4, after all the next update still brings no folders & audio cd support so I look forward to purchasing a real entertainment device. 4thewaiters!

Ohhhhhh..... No.. why?.. 2 weeks.. really? I want them to take a deep breath and think again. They might want to delay the game for 5 more days next month. Its the only game I am looking forward to getting. Have no interest in DS3, Hitman will be short (for being episodic), R&C looks cool but I am not sure I will get that and Division is boring.

Atleast there's a beta to look forward to.

They already said the game is still on track to go gold at the end of the month, so the issue is likely not a development one.

So even if they're lying about pressing more disks, there might be some other reason unrelated to the development of the game.
 
Gives me more time to buy and play the Nathan Drake Collection I guess. I played the games on the PS3 but I wasn't with my girl at the time so she missed out and wants to know what all the fuss is about.
 
Wait. So I get to play Ratchet & Clank and the Division for two weeks before playing this?

I'm okay with this outcome.

Fuck that! A 2 week delay is fine but how the hell can you be so disorganised as to change a release date twice in two months?
 
i took a week off work for uncharted 4 starting march the 18th....im glad i didnt use another week in april for uncharted. looks like ill have to do something productive.
 
I'm not even mad, these last two delays are super minor. Plus it's going to be an undoubtedly better game game for it (well maybe not this manufacturing one, but the last one, absolutely). I remember ND talking about how much the month delay helped The Last of Us before it shipped, that really emphasized for me how much a delay for those reasons was a good thing then -- and that's one of my favorite games, period.

Delay all you want, make it perfect.

Same here, and about time too, when pretty much every other publisher is getting their games out on the same day some of these companies need to catch up. It is super annoying to be behind a few days, especially here in the UK where we have been 3 days behind with some releases. EA still do it which is infuriating, one of the biggest publishers around, the internet was a minefield when Mass Effect 3 released because we had to wait a few days.

So about time, I can deal with a delay if we all get it at the same time.

This. For a game this big not doing one was honestly a complete joke. They managed it with TLOU, so I'm glad they changed their mind.. If you're making a big sp campaign which finishes a series of games let everyone have it on the same day to avoid spoilers.

I dunno, maybe they should put you in charge and see when it comes out instead?

You know, maybe their preorders are more then they were expecting and it'll be nice for the whole world to get it oin the same day. instead of everyone finishing it before the uk even gets it. Not everything that comes out a companies mouth is a lie you know.
 
I'm fine with this. Well, sorta.

Two more weeks? No big deal.

But releasing on a TUESDAY? I mean like really? What is this bullshit? They originally intended to release on March 18th, world wide, which is a FRIDAY. I coulda have spend one or two nights playing this game. Now I've either got to hold off playing for three days (including release day) or play it in small chunks. I don't like either of these options.

yeh maybe you are right. I find it incredibly hard to believe that manufacturing isn't locked up right now.
 
Naughty Dog knew people needed more time to finish up Dark Souls 3, they are just being considerate damn it :(
 
i can't say i'm too bothered. i'm excited about it...but i'm also balls deep in just cause 3 and fallout 4...2 games i can only describe as "vast"

the more time i have to finish those the better. and with my limited gaming time its going to take a while. lol
 
God damn, that sucks, was planning on having an Uncharted marathon session with a bunch of people. Now that the date is changed, that might not happen :/
 
I'm 100% sure that ND can delay this thing all the way to 2017 and we'll still get posts saying:

"Come one guys it's just X weeks/months."
"No big deal, make it perfect ND."

For God's sake, it's not even about the 14 extra days. It's about ND and Sony being so incompetent that they need to delay this thing twice in the short span of two months.

Don't give a release date unless you are absolutely sure that you can meet it. Is that REALLY too much to ask? smh.
