Pretty sure is more for fourm dwellers and the videogame press (the main public of directs). To dont get their hopes up, like they usually do, and then hate everything.

Hanging out for Picross 3D 2, Box Boy 2 and maybe a Detective Pikachu localisation. Probably the official Mother 3 VC announcement, too.
That's not nearly enough hype, though, so I'll also have to get my hopes up for Paper Mario Wii U, Pikmin 4, Bayonetta 3, Captain Toad 2 and Metroid Dread.
