I guess not since he's clearly doing well enough without itI mean the bigger websites. I find it odd that this has such strong word of mouth...yet a lot of sites like IGN haven't even mentioned it. Shouldnt the publsher have sent out review copies?
placing furniture is weird, doesn't seemto work half the time
It works if you are standing right next to the place where you want to place it and none of it would end up on you, just like a real furniture. It gets time to adjust to that in a game, true.
thanks for the snark. actually, it was that the a button (using a 360 controller) stops working half the time until you enter into the item menu and back out again.
I had a four hour train trip this morning at 4 am, for work. I was supposed to get some sleep on the train, with a full day of work ahead of me. It did NOT happen. I'm so fucking tired but winter went great so it's OK.

Surface?
So I placed my silo in a really stupid place (didn't know it was so damn tall), is there a way to move farm buildings after they are built?

Yep, runs perfectly

GAH! I assumed seasons were 3 months long. First month of game was ending and I had just spent several thousand gold on seeds. First day of summer! Oops! All of my plants have died because they were "spring plants"! That was about 4000 gold down the drain, I think I'm going to just restart the game. Lesson learned though.
Amazing game though, I'm having tons of fun.
Keep going, you'll recover and soon realize that 4000 is not that much

This. You can get those 4k back in no time.
Alright, I'll continue. It was just that I had like 150 gold left, and I hadn't even built coop yet (I spent all money on experimentation and plants) so plants were my only income besides going into mines and digging random stuff. Slow start, but I'll survive! Thanks!
Spent a good chunk of the winter fishing to pump into quality fertilizer only to find out Pierre sells it at 20G apiece in Spring Year 2.

All that fishing money.
...I'm sorry for your pain, but thank God I read this before it was too late.Spent a good chunk of the winter fishing to pump into quality fertilizer only to find out Pierre sells it at 20G apiece in Spring Year 2.

What's the more worthwhile fertilizer? Speed or quality?

Needing help: Spoilers for mining rewards.I made it to the last level and got a key. What is it used for? I figured it was for the sewers but it keeps saying "It's Locked."
I started playing this last night. This type of game is so stressful to me. I have moderate to severe gamer OCD and not having enough time and energy in a day to do everything I want to really frays my nerves. I accepted a quest from a lady that wants a potato in 2 days and there's no way I'm going to be able to get a potato in 2 days. Stress.
Are there any kinds of items early in the game that are safe to sell? I've been foraging a bunch of stuff (turnips/plants from around town and random shellfish from the beach) but I dunno if any of this stuff is going to be needed down the line. I planted the starter seeds they give you at the beginning but I'm totally broke now waiting for my 2nd batch of crops to sprout.

I'm sitting in the uni library and all I want to do is go home and pick blueberries all day.
This game.
Its used for aendless dungeon in the desert. Which you can only access once you repair the bus station. This location is basically the desert on the upper left corner of your map
A different key is used for the sewers.
What does Gil want exactly, btw?
Look at the poster on the wall. It will say how many monsters of each type you've killed. Once you reach the number, speak with Gil.
