No it wouldn't, it would just mean he maybe stays in longer before he ultimately loses

It would be a upset, no doubt, actually. Perhaps not enough to change the delegate math, but it will give Sanders a big boost in media coverage.

But the exit polls coming out of Mississippi suggest that nothing much has changed in demographics. A Sanders upset in Michigan would be based on turnout mostly.

It looks like rubio and kasich are probably going to get sub 5% in Mississippi. If trump manages to get above 50% in Mississippi does anyone know what happens in term of delegates?

lol I thought by the responses here that there was like 80% reporting in Michigan. It's at 15% and people are freaking out? Have we learned absolutely nothing from past states?

lol, no. Not at all, actually. He needs to win by a HUGE margin to "throw the race on its head." Like, Hilary would have to be non-viable.

It would be a huge upset because him outperforming the polls by so much in Michigan it could mean the same in states like Illinois, ohio, etc.

It would mean actual momentum

For the record,i dont think he will win Michigan.
She has been outperforming expectations so far.

LOL I know it won't last but seeing Rubio losing to Ben Carson in Mississippi is hilarious.

HillGAF so defensive. I love it. Can't speak out against the #queen

EDIT: Hillary has an edge because of the black vote obviously, but you're kidding yourselves if you think it's her only edge in the south.

Hillary is really getting a yuge win in Mississippi,
Sanders needs to get a win in Michigan - results right now seem a lot closer than the polls which had him loosing by 10-20 points. If he loses I don't see how he gains momentum to make up ground otherwise.

Right, but 50/50 splits do him zero good. That's just a ton more delegates that he COULD have won are taken off the board, and nothing has changed except the pool of available pledged delegates are now smaller. He has to win every state by incredible margins to even come close, particularly when you count superdelegates.

So, like, at what point does Trump start to... study the issues? It's going to be him and Cruz alone on that stage sooner than later, and that's not going to work out for him.

As a rather impartial, remote observer from a rather small country in Europe, got to admit this post is really pathetic. Even after the edit.

He doesn't need to study. He'll get the smartest guys to make fabulous deals so America can win and win and win.
