I LOVE the new "classic" look! i didnt think they were going to be able to surpass asm2 costume wise but this comes close! And animated eyes!? I watched this trailer in my bath tub and let out an audible loud shrill squeee when spiderman shows up! Towards the end of the trailer I was like awww no spidey, but the "UNDEROOS" takes cap shield and lands on the truck like a fucking boss! It was magical! God damn magical! Welcome home spidey! We've missed you!

I love the idea of animating spidey's eyes, but what the hell is going on with the suit? It looks so cheap compared to all the other iterations.

Hopefully it looks better in other shots

I just love how he's fucking introduced. Like,

Everyone's been waiting for months - nay, years for this to happen, everyone's been coy about this shit and they've been dodging it in trailers, press questions etc.

And then at the end of the trailer Tony just goes "alright I've ran out of patience". He's literally saying what the entire audience watching this are thinking.

And then Spidey finally shows up in the MCU. I haven't felt this elated by a single crossover shot since Snake and Sonic showed up in Smash Bros. I can't believe this is actually happening.

"Hey everyone."

Perfection. Most of the Marvel films are ho-hum for me, but I trust the Russos.

The new Spiderman needs to be cleaned up, CGI-wise. The lighting just feels off in that one particular scene. But that should be cleaned up before the film is out.

Also, new poster:

Trailer was alright. Spiderman looks fantastic but his voice is horrible wtf?

He's supposed to be a teenager right? Still sounds so off-putting.

The animated eyes are perfect, though.

No seeing the hate there.

Not so much hate but I guess disappointment. The entire thing while nice to see is just underwhelming. I think that might be what some are feeling. Remember this isn't the first time we've seen Spider-man in live action. This the 6th film (not counting any bad/weird stuff in the 80s) and the bar has been set kinda high over the years for his physical appearance.

I never got why people were losing their cool in the first place with wanting to see him. You've seen him before.

I'll say it again Marvel needs to hire better cinematographers. Some of the shots look okay while others are really lacking. Maybe I've just been spoiled by recent films and knowing what WB tends to do.

Does this Spidey make his shooters? Always loved that about Spidey. Hated that they were natural in the Raimi movies, and then he pretty much stole the tech in the Garfield movies.

In the comics he made the shooters and the webbing compound. Whether he learned that formula intuitively from gaining spider powers or not is not verified.

personally the one thing i LOVE about spidey is the size of his eyes, perfect imo

edit: guess everyone has pointed it out already. favorite era spiderman

I usually avoid trailers but since I heard Spidey was being unveiled, I knew there was no way I'd be available to avoid those gifs, so I watched it.

I wish they had saved the Hawkeye and Ant-Man bit for the movie. That said... HYPEEE

Spidey looks great and has a hype/surreal reveal
Panther chasing Bucky looks really good.
It looks character-based but in a non-boring way

Fave shot? Witch vs. Vision.
