Question: Which side do you think the other Avengers would be on in they were in the film?

Chris Evans: They may be on Tony’s side. Ruffalo would probably be on Tony’s side. He’s got Scarett. Maybe we get Hemsworth.

Joseph Russo: Can’t imagine Banner siding with Ross and the government. Thor is more of a wildcard.

I'm assuming you are being sarcastic, but I'm in the minority that thought Andrew Garfield was far better than Tobey McGuire. Not looking like a 40 year old probably helped.

minority? I thought this was widely accepted, tobey was awful

the first two raimi movies botched pete, spidey, and MJ while the ASM movies got pete and spidey right (gwen was aight, better than dunst for sure) but botched everything else

But Peter being a genius is part of his character

It is. But creating the webbing is still a very contrived part of his origin.

The sort of brilliance that inspired him to create the shooters very seldomly show up in his character history. Until recently anyway.

Question: What do you think was the easiest thing about filming CW, compared to other Captain America/avengers/Iron man films?

Chris Evans: All the Captain America movies are hard. The Avengers movies are easier because you can share the workload. The Cap movies I feel like I’m on set every day.

What the hell?

But that kinda undermines the "average teenage loser" part of his character. Same with any storylines involving his super important parents.

He was never a loser, loner sure. But he wasn't a basement dwelling nerd. That been made up recently. And still incorrect

I am not familiar with his suit; I do know his country is the source of vibranium. I think of hard metal when I think of vibranium, not a costume that is flexible, but I guess it could be used like Kevlar and still keep flexibility.
Whoops, I wasn't questioning you. I put the question mark after vibranium since I wasn't sure that was that was the right name for it.

My dude, turned around like "Who's tapping me?".

Peter Parker in Amazing Spider Man seemed pretty out of character. Like, wasn't he just way too suave and cool? I just remember in 2 when he showed up at the end of the graduation, kissed Gwen, shouted something to the audience and was generally a bit of an a-hole.

RedLetterMedia have touched upon this in their reviews of the two TASM movies as well. The movies do a bit more with Spider-Man (even though I personally don't think the way it was depicted worked in favor of the movie at all) but Peter's character is almost impossible to grasp in them since it feels like he's whatever the current scene needs him to be.

Please, Marvel, I beg you:

Continue the Captain America series after this one. The casting is absolutely perfect. The writing is phenomenal. Best in the Marvel series.

so my theory is that his initial suit that we're seeing in the trailer is given to him by Tony.

Things go south w/ the whole civil war thing and he gives it up... only to come back with his real, final suit.

Everyone = people who actively follow these movies

If you don't actually read online about the movie, and only learn anything new when a trailer comes out, you don't know Spiderman would be in this

Yes. I would bet that most people who see the movie have not been following the production or researching rumors. So when they see the trailer, they are going to flip out.

Really, I was unaware that this was a popular opinion, I honestly thought I was in a minority. I have never read a comic in my life, so maybe my reasons for disliking him as Spidey are different, but I hated McGuire and his constant whining. Kirsten Dunst is, IMO, the single most annoying character in any film I have ever seen. Combined these make the Raimi films unwatchable for me. The ASM films obviously have their problems but I find them much more enjoyable.

I feel like 'underoos' is a dig at the suit Peter designed himself. There might be an ongoing gag of Tony shitting on Spider-Man's costume, maybe with a "I made a suit for you" reveal at the end.

Question: For Chadwick Boseman What was the hardest part about being Black Panther?

Chadwick Boseman: Because it’s a fictional country that pulls from various African cultures, it’s difficult to fuse all of that into one voice. It’s difficult because there are so many options.

That casualty count that they have on screen is absolute bullshit though.

74 dead in the Battle of New York?

23 dead from the ending of Winter Soldier?

ONLY 177 dead from Age of Ultron?

Complete and utter nonsense. That loss of life is so minimal and implausible given the size of the armies involved.

(Firmly dons comics debate hat)

As I recall, the Battle of New York was destructive as all hell, but Cap's rapid commands to those cops about perimeters and leading civilians away from the fight underground, and the general sense that they wrapped that shit up in a half hour would lead me to think perhaps that's why the Avengers made their mark on the world so well. What they did was seemingly impossible. Same with Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron. Helicarriers all land in the river, no city damage really, and just barely avoided hundreds of thousands of targeted deaths. Sokovia, shit, Whedon made crystal clear that they cleared out a lot of that city before confronting Ultron, and the Helicarrier grabbed just about everybody off the chunk that lifted in the air before crashing. So yeah, I think those numbers are plausible. In fact, I can totally see a legit argument being made by #TeamCap that, sure, those lives lost are tragic, but what kind of numbers would have happened if the Avengers weren't there to take decisive action? I seem to remember the words, "global extinction" being used, without jest.

Kay, I'm taking off the hat, now...

Question: For the Russos: Would you be interested in making a Young Avengers movie? Miss America Chavez could probably give some GREAT fight scenes.

Joseph Russo: Damn. That’s actually a really good idea…And you’re right she would kick ass!

I'm trying to judge from this trailer whether the film will be any good in 3D. I managed to watch a 3D version of the previous trailer and it actually looked pretty good. Not every shot looks like it will make use of the effect.

The Ant-Man section was awesome.
