You kinda have to wonder why Hawkeye would run towards the conflict for any reason whatsoever.

Spidey looks awesome. The eyes are straight out of Mike Wieringo (may he rest in peace). Awesome stuff.

Do we know yet what Zeno's role in the film will be? I'm concerned it will be a kiss and make up kind of shared threat ending.

Suit looks like something out of a TV show in the YouTube video. The actual high resolution pictures do it better justice.

That being said, I'm sure the final suit at launch will be good. Not too interested in Spider-Kid, but if Marvel play their cards right with Sony, chances are he can replace Iron Man as their main star for the coming decade.

Best wishes.

hahaha that spiderman part at the end looked terrible. looked like a cartoon.
the trailer went from super serious to, hey guys we have jokes in this too.

Like you've never wondered if Mary Jane was going to get cervical cancer from radiated sperm.

It's my best bud's favorite Spider-Man book and I'm like, why? Why in the fuck. Everything about it is awful. He even paid hundreds of dollars for an original piece of art from it.

It's seriously like someone at Marvel went "Oh hey look, DC made a super dark Batman story where he's old and grizzled, let's do that for..." and then they covered their eyes and threw a dart at a wall of Marvel characters and it hit Spidey, the least compatible character for that idea.

The *only* redeeming thing I can think to say about it is that the pencils are nice, but that's it. The person that inked them ruined it, all the backgrounds are CGI, the story is fucking awful, the colors are gross and muddy, the writing is SO BAD. It's like the exact opposite of anything I would ever want from a Spider-Man comic.

I feel like BP is pretty OP. Runs faster than Cap and his suit can resist bullets from a gunship. He's gonna be so friggin' badass.

Don't disagree with any part of what you're saying. But to me Spider-man is like pizza. Even the bad ones are still good.

Dat cover tho:

Also wearing the heaviest costume. And let's be real, probably the most freaked out by what's happening.

I wish they would have thrown in the scenes with him from the D23 trailer that wasn't released to the public.

When he meets Team Cap he's totally freaking out and fan-boning

” I know you know a lot of super people, so thinks for thanking of me! Uh… thanks for thinking of me,”

How can you NOT side with Tony Stark in this? I mean, what the hell?

Well if we're talking the Superhuman Registration Act, I would side with Cap completely. We can't expect these people to protect us when calamity strikes, but every other day have their names and information readily available to anyone who is smart enough to get access to it. We saw what knowing someone's secret identity can do to someone in both IM3 and Ant Man.

So is that scene with the tank going to be the equivalent of
Tony cloning Thor in the comics?
Bet you 10 buck he tries to bring Quicksiler back.

Yes there is

And they showed the physical version of the lens used to make the eyesmove.

Yeah that's totally Stark's costume for him. That goggle they teased has got to be from his shitty home-made suit. Maybe the eyes are camera lenses so Tony refines the idea to be much more form-fitting than big shutter goggles.

Yeah, the disaster's leading up to this:
Avengers/NYC: Loki/SHIELD's fault. If SHIELD had just left the Tesseract in ice...
Washington: The Government/SSR/Peggy Carter/Nick Fury/SHIELD's fault. No one noticed Hydra came back until it was too late. Cap did what he could in the 40's, and woke up 70 years later and fixed shit over a weekend.
Sokovia: Nick Fury/SHIELD/Scarlet Witch/Iron Man's fault. SHIELD let Loki's staff disappear, SW voodoo'd Tony into haphazardly creating Ultron.

Still think the death tolls are actually higher. My guess is they didn't count any government agents or Hydra Agents. Way more than 23 people died when 3 Helicarriers crashed through a large building.

I never could remember, but is most of BP's power from the Suit? Unless they came up with something that let a regular man outrun a Super Soldier Serum man.

Made me also wonder, was it ever implied that Zola/Hydra gave something similar to the Serum, to Bucky, giving him similar powers to Cap?

I'm starting to get wary about this movie. This could very well be the Russo's AoU. They did a great job with Winter Soldier but they had a lot more focus on just Steve and Bucky. There wasn't all this build up. On the other end look at Age of Ultron where they had to build up so many things despite some of them being only through dialogue. In Civil War the movie literally has to introduce two huge new characters and put focus on all these other characters.

So I'm scared but still very excited.

I share this sentiment.

Plus superheroes fighting each other doesn't appeal to me the way it did when I was 12. Winter Soldier was great because it had a convincing, unsettling feeling of menace, and it focused on this threat. This just looks like a free-for-all.

How is the arrow supporting Antmans weight? I thought weight doesn't change when shrinking (
except for keychains, that are relevant to the plot

If Tony made the Spidey suit we see in the trailer, maybe Pete's homemade costume looks similar to this, but with the shutter goggles sewn into the mask:

You'll feel better when Panther reveals he isn't on anyone's side but his own.

As it should be; a conflict between Americans in their underwear is beneath a king. The biggest problem Stark's going to have is that no one is really on his team. Rhodey, I guess, will always have his brother's back, but he's getting blown out.

T'Challa will abandon him for his own agenda whenever he feels he needs to. Black Widow seems like she abandons him in this trailer. We haven't gotten much from The Vision's character motivation in these trailers so far, but his whole "side of life" thing makes it seem like he wouldn't want to keep pushing a conflict. Spider-Man is just a kid, and one who, historically speaking, isn't exactly the most sold on Stark's cause.
