Real talk. Arguably the Congress elections are more important.
It doesn't matter if Trump's base gets riled up. They are anyhow riled up by racism, xenophobia, hate based on religion etc. What matters is that a sane reaction against the hate speech is the protest. This goes beyond the vote. Protesting against discrimination and hate speech is one of the checks and balances of the democracy. And it pops up when the law can do anything against it.
I just don't get the idea of this high-horse bullshit about 'lesser of two evils' like, everyone is a shithead on relative terms.

As I said, the reason I don't vote is generally because I'd rather not vote than vote uninformed and I generally don't have enough of an interest in politics or enough time to properly inform myself. The main reason Trump would be different is because I feel I've seen far more than enough of him to know he'd be an absolute nightmare in office
