Massive ongoing protest in Chicago makes Trump "postpone" his event

I understand, I've eaten other kinds of food (I'm not from the US, so finding actual tacos is kinda hard). I'm just joking trying to lighten up the mood, I know that there are people out there that can make even terrible things like tacos turn out great.

Most of the things that I eat are regional / local.

I know, I'm just messing with you right back.

Though yeah, Mexican food is pretty much the best food on earth. Beans, corn, pork, chicken, seafood, avocados.

I have been in love with making shrimp tacos lately. Saute the shrimp in olive oil, butter, and a little Madeira with cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper, put them in a warm flour tortilla, add pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, fresh cilantro, red onions, and fresh jalapenos, and finish with a handful of spring mix on top...so good.

And that's not authentic (it includes flour tortillas rather than corn, for goodness' sake!), but it is delicious.

And now blaming Obama for stoking the flames of political/racial divide, ughaaaa
Yeah, I can totally see how "Democrats and Republican need to be more bi-partisan in our efforts to govern this country" and "We need to come together as Americans" can be misconstrued as the COMPLETE fucking opposite.

]Not only that, but he took over all three major cable news networks, had long interviews with Matthews, Greta, and Don, and canceled coverage of Kasich's MSNBC town hall and Cruz's event with Hannity.

And now this is what everyone's going to be talking about all weekend leading up to Super Tuesday II.

Yeah, he stopped implying it and just said it outright now

might need to put on a tinfoil hat but damn....this seems.....somewhat deliberate of Trump

The power of the dichotomy between Us vs. Them or Other vs. Self is primal and a major factor of current sentient existence. It will never be escaped. It can and does often lead to blood.

I know and I'm from hicksville so I've heard Trump's rhetoric my whole life but I didn't think it could be strong enough to propel someone to the top of "the party of Lincoln".

Nice seeing people standing up against evil, though don't want any violence to be done either.

Trump says that he doesn't promote violence? He said it was "appropriate" what happened to the guy that got punched repeatedly the other day. Republicans sure like to live in their own world, pity they try to destroy ours.

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own
Holy SHIT Maddow on MSNBC. I don't think I've heard her this pissed off ever. She's very audibly upset and is either crying or on the verge of tears over the state of presidential politics.

is this uploaded anywhere, anybody?

Proud of you Chicagoans. Chicagittes?

This should happen at every GOP event. It's been past the point. They are spreading hate.

Fair enough but then why did you ask me in the first place?

And not all my views are conservative

Hey, sorry for misrepresenting your views.

I asked because I wanted a fuller understanding of your views on the current news events, to make sure I didn't have a caricature of you in my mind and remind myself that you're an actual person with actual ideals. That's all.

I love this shit. Let's see how these racist fuckwits act when they are outnumbered and not pushing teenage girls and sucker punching people.

Why else pick a deep blue city (the current Democratic president's home ground even) a couple of days before an extremely important event in the primaries?

He sucked all the oxygen out of the room again, apparently got to hit some of his rally points in his interviews on national TV, made his supporters feel fearful and victimized (which works particularly well with his type of supporters) and now gets to talk about "left-wing politically correct intolerance", a major theme of his campaign.

I definitely feel this is a calculated move.

Thanks for being reasonable
This is definitely one of the craziest election seasons ever
