Not a big comic book fan or knowledgeable of them. Maybe I am confused of the whole premise of this movie. Wouldn't superman just crush batman without even breaking a sweat.... Does batman come into some knowledge of kryptonite?
Yeah is this rated R? Thinking of taking my son to see it with me he is 10?
I really don't like the cg there. Batman stepping off of Superman just looks bad.
Golf ham this scene looks great. Just showing supes so imposing. Even bats is a little scared
Hulkbuster debuted about 8 years after TDKR, which is what the Bat armor is based off of.So, Bruce Wayne is bogarting Tony Stark's armor now? (It looks very Iron Man-ish when he's stepping off of Supes.)

Oddly enough, none. I don't...look at Superhero films that way? So the visuals of The Dark Knight never really stood out to me. Well, I will say that Nolan Bat movies were very clean. Very sterile. But again, they didn't wow me.I'm curious, what comic book films would you rank above TDK in the visuals department?

I am quite sure that whomever cut that trailer no longer has a job.
Robotic and stiff can't be explained away by robotic and stiff Bat armor. Got it.Agreed. Robotic and stiff, which can't be explained away by the Bat-Armour.
Who ever approved it should not have a job. There is no way they even ran it by Snyder. That could not have been a trailer he was involved in.
Batman looks actually scared here with the way he is fidgeting when superman walks towards him. Very nice! I would have shat my pants if Supes walked like that towards me.
You've never seen someone commend a film's visuals?
Talking about visuals in a visual medium is unheard of to you?

“We had a long conversation about just taking ownership of that, of giving it to the audience in a controlled way that I felt was consistent with the escalation of the campaign,” Snyder tells The Daily Beast. “To us it really made sense to give [Doomsday] to the audience now. I really wanted to make the audience a promise that… though I’m super excited and happy and fulfilled by the conflict of Batman and Superman, there’s also a bigger world to start to think about.”]
tbh, no I haven't. it makes sense though. you guys are just talking about the fidelity that the designs, cgi and overall cinematographic aesthetics give off right?
Uh huuuhCool footage, but I've seen better editing in fan-made trailers on YouTube...
I see no problem with this line of thinking. The trailer itself was cut poorly, but the reveal itself is fine to me.
You must have never gone into practically any movie thread on GAF. Any Marvel thread has "Looks like a TV show!" at least more than once. Revanant threads were full of praise for the cinematography the past few months. etc etc

I mean, this is the thing I'm having a little difficulty swallowing with this film - Batman would be crippled or very badly injured after a single attack from Superman. From the level of power he displayed in Man of Steel there's no way a regular human could fight him.
(They're obviously going to fall back on Kryptonite, but as a plot device I really dislike that. I hope I'm wrong and they do something more interesting).
Why does everyone ignore the comic book bullshit suit that batman is wearing

Reveal was fine to me, Im just talking about one of the worst Trailers I have ever seen.
Compared to MOS, Watchmen, hell even Sucker Punch..............The first trailer for this was a cluster, I don;'t understand how the studio, Snyder, or anyone else thought that was a good idea for a trailer, and the music choice was an abomination. It almost seemed like a parody you would see on SNL.
You just had to bring in Marvel + Civil War in here didn't you...And my disbelief is that the airport standoff in civil war will just end up with Ironman having a blackeye and some z tier superhero dead in between happy jokes, why is it so hard to have a difficulty with batman and superman fighting when they've been doing it for decades in comics and animations whyyyy
Yes marvel has the rights on superhero armors since 1986
But its like Iron Man getting punched by the Hulk and still be ok.

Just getting back to his roots...Batman's totally mowing down guys in SUV's with his machine gun. Car's exploding :lol
"It's just a prank bro!"

Ironman falls from the sky and gets hit by sidewinder missiles, but this you find amusing. Obviously the body armor sustains some damage here.

I agree, plus it was also about bringing Wonder Woman into the picture as well. Her reveal in that trailer was awesome.
So what does this movie mean for future Batfleck movies in regards to enemies he'll face? Is is going to be odd seeing him fight a bunch of thugs again after he's been smashed through buildings and such?
They overestimated how much the Doomsday leaks had infiltrated the general movie-goer Zeitgeist, it seems.
I sort of knew Doomsday was in the film via rumours but I certainly wasn't sure.
Yeah I was really surprised they showed him right off the bat. Contrast it with the Suicide Squad trailer where they still havent really shown who or what the big bad of the movie is. I think that the SS trailers have been consistently much better then the ones for BvS.
