I get it in the narrative sense. Sure. I can dig it.

But given what had up to that point. With all the badass things he did in the movie.

Also, he was just a henchmen in the end. I don't know he felt more than that. But, that falls to Hardy's strong performance.

He felt in charge, lol.

Yeah, my finger clicked it twice. Sorry, plus I don't see the second post. So, nothing I can do. I would do something if I could, truly.
 
I wan't a fan of MoS, I prefer the ASS version of Supes and pine for that portrayal every time. I fast-forwarded through most of the talky bits when I saw MoS, so terrible did I think they were, and mostly just luxuriated in the visual grandiosity of the thing (it still has some of the best portrayals of super speed and strength I can think of.)

I'll probably enjoy BvS for mostly the same reasons and that's fine. Most superhero writing is pretty self-serious and shallow. Hell, most superhero art could be described the same way, but, when Doug Mahke draws it you just don't care that Geoff Johns wrote it.

I mean... He went through 8 years of watching Bruce be a sad-sack because of his time as Batman. That's a reasonable enough justification for his thoughts on the affair to change.

The Dark Knight is just the worst week ever for Batman.

Imagined had he been given that note right when Alfred set it on the table and then had to deal with Two-Face and The Joker after.

Oh my god. How even more powerful that ending would've been.

When I saw trailer 3, I thought that's what we we were gonna get ? Lol. Does anybody think they'll ever involved Paul Dini in at some point ?

But why ? It's so good. It's how I even know what I know outside of Google. Son, 2000s Animated DC was popping.

Timm's work was cool too. He only had to balance that one character and that one world. Dini would juggle several.

I feel like it got to the point of perfection with Dini. This balance of silly but yet mature.

Even had crossover for no reasons....If you would've told me yeah, Static Shock is gonna crossover with Batman Beyond ? I wouldn't of asked why, but the space would've been for me to do so, lol.

Dini's version was just a brute really. But then he wasn't even good at that and just got bodied by everybody. Shazam was a better Superman than Superman.

Huh, I think had a breakthrough.

The reason why you don't like animated Superman, (Dini's version) I think is the same reason I don't like the Man of Steel one.

I never had a word for it till now. Aight, I can see that. Seems fair. Animated Superman always seemed wholesome to me tho.

Also my local cinema is doing MoS and BvS back to back. Not entirely sure my back and arse could handle two films in a row at the cinema.

Probably ranting and telling someone to F off.

I'm going to watch MoS at home the day before release. I've tried to do the whole multiple movie thing at the cinema before, but it just makes you too tired to appreciate the newer movie.

I did all three TDK films back-to-back before the 12 AM screening of TDKR. Was pretty awesome, actually.

I don't care enough about MoS to do that for this film. I did do a rewatch at home last week.
 
He got banned? Man, when I was a junior I was super careful about every post, lol. It was a long trek to that 300.

Anyways, I'm rewatching Man of Steel right now. At the oil rig scene.
 
I could use more piano in these movies. The notable bits of the MoS soundtrack for me were the piano arrangements like "This Is Clark Kent".
