Maybe people have decided the cause of their protest is bigger than your need for everyone to be considerate of your hypothetical feelings about a road block that doesn't even impact you, guys on the Internet who don't live there.

I didn't post in any MLK day threads, but if it happened then it was wrong too. If they were All Lives Matters protesters block traffic to a Bernie event I'd say the same thing. I'm not politicizing this shit, you are. I'm not some Trump supporter who's angry about his event being protested, I'm pissed off that this might legitimately cause someone in an ambulance to die, or a pregnant woman to be forced to give birth in the back of a car, and even barring those circumstances, I understand how infuriated I'd be if I was simply trying to go visit some family and a bunch of dickheads I don't support were protesting another dickhead I don't support by forcing me to not be able to see my family.

If you support shit like this, you're not better than Trump and his ilk.

Ehhhh, Trump can go to hell and you are absolutely allowed to have a voice and use it in protest, but you shouldn't be stopping other people from listening to whatever they want just to hear your voice. They are allowed to not listen to you but forcing them to listen to you isn't right, IMO.

You can speak all you want, you can't force anyone to listen.

Both sides are idiots, IMO. Supporters for being racist, xenophobic assholes to the protestors for stifling individual liberty.

Say what you want, just don't step on anyone to do it. Both parties scraping the bottom of the barrel here and look like fools.

I consider people blocking traffic much less deadly and damaging than a man and his supporters who want to build a wall around the US and ban an entire religious group from entering the United States.

He doesn't even have the nomination yet. It's stupid to be doing this right now. They are going to cause someone to die by blocking traffic too. They already said people are crossing into ongoing traffic to pass them.
 
Ironically, I would imagine that the majority of people being negatively affected by this roadblock are probably already against Trump.
 
Good. There should be more protests like this. If you think this isn't working, you're out of your mind. Need the proof? We're talking about it. That's all that needs to be done to pull off a successful protest. There's news coverage, and it's being rightly associated with the backlash against Trump. When I look at this, I see people who are tired of hate and violence being touted as virtues and are actually doing something to raise awareness.

It's not about courting theoretical line-riders. And if this makes you want to vote for Trump, you never gave a shit anyway.

Oh, also, let's keep on pretending that helicopters don't exist for medical emergencies, or that there aren't alternate routes for ambulances to take, or any of the other solutions cities and towns already have in place in case there's a bottleneck on the highway. What do you think ambulances do when there's just tons of traffic? Hang out and hope for the best? Good lord.
