Forreal. Dude is one of the last directors getting big casts for original big budget blockbusters and y'all want him back on comic books. No. There's a million other directors for these

Oh yeah, you can't even compare the Justice League crap in this to the stuff in Iron Man 2.

It's so much worse. I have no idea why it wasn't just a post credit stinger.

I agree. Look man, I like pretty girls but the hyper-extended Black Widow service scene was just offensively out of place.

And then Snyder manages to completely destroy it and dump shit in this movie that's even more inorganic and sorely sticking out. I would rather take every single character in this movie using Sony VAIOs.

Got home from a showing.

This movie is hot garbage.

And easily takes the spot for the worst fucking superhero movie I've seen since super hero movies became big. Worse then MoS too.

It's actually impressive how utterly bored out of my mind I was. Action wasn't impressive either outside a couple of scenes.

But holy fuck, this movie is trash. There are like 4 scenes in the entire movie that I enjoyed. That's it.

Iron Man 3 is the best Iron Man. And after Civil War the IM trilogy will be the 2nd best trilogy in the genre.

You want to talk about a movie that completely destroys a character in its 3rd movie, look no further than TDKR.

But that's wrong since it was the worst ironman movie. I want my bird now.

I just realized that since I liked the movie I will never stop hearing people talk about how horrible it is without me feeling like it's a bunch of hyperbole.

I'm a changed man, I have joined a world of pain. My life is hard.

I don't know if this is the worst superhero film I've ever seen...

... But it's definitely the one that made me the angriest and the one I currently hate the most.

The last two or three pages have solidified beyond a doubt that Jack Remington is not a man to be trusted.

Luckily, many people here are cognizant of the kind of quality filmmaker we have in Shane Black, and are appreciative of his talents.

Haha fucking critics

Full of hot shit.

They made it out to be one of the worst movies ever. It's no where near that. Movie is very good.

Safe to say Nintendo fans feel that way these days.

Welcome to the world of modern super hero movies. Here's your complimentary tote bag filled with vitriol.

my man.

also im kinda interested in seeing Fan4stic now just to see how it stacks up with this in terms of awfulness

Surely it can't be worse than Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Does it have a poorly acted, irrational, unsympathetic goofy villain - AND make a desperate attempt to create a full comic book movie cinematic universe in the last half of the movie by shoeing in tons of references, focusing more on that than making a good movie with a good story?

My kid rarely wants to go to the movie, but for some reason is dying to see this movie.

I'm afraid to take him based on these reviews, he might never go to the cinema again lol

I also refuse to believe it can be worse than ASM2

Joke post right?

Cause that's exactly this movie.

Nah, it was the best. Had the best action scenes (especially the raid on Tony's house, wow), the air force 1 rescue is amazing, the presence of the Mandarin was great in the first half and the twist is a great subversion (Trevor is a riot). End fight being a metaphor of all of Tony's fears and anxiety's from his ptsd being literally stripped away was inspired.

Yeah, Iron Man 3, great stuff.

Based Shane Black.

If this is a serious question...yes.

Ironman 1 was fun... But the villain was bad. Making the climax lame.
In my opinion, the best Marvel/Disney movies are Avengers, Winter Soldier, and Guardians.

Okay, this is straight bullshit.

I liked Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I liked Lethal Weapon and Last Action Hero.

Iron Man 3 just failed in so many ways that those movies didn't.

Maybe Snyder can direct an adaptation to Frank Miller's original Batman pitch... Holy Terror Batman
What could go wrong?

It's actually kind of ridiculous how much is wrong with this movie. It just kept adding to the shit toll.

The first half didn't go anywhere. Like it was entirely forgotten and so poorly handled.

The movie has this serious tone like it's trying to do the 200m dash as opposed to the paltry sprint other movies do but it shits itself right after the starting line. And then it keeps shitting.

I had extrmely low standards going into this movie. They weren't met.

Edit: Damn, wrong thread.

Nope. I just described ASM2. I haven't seen BvS yet.

So let me get this straight they took the Doomsday story and the Dark Knight Returns and smashed it together and then desperately tried to shove as much of a foundation into a cinematic universe that didn't exist before the movie?

Because that's what Sony tried to do and it failed spectacularly. Are they aware that they can't do in one movie what Marvel did over 5 movies before Avengers?

I've heard that the rated R cut is the true version of the film and that so much stuff was cut from the movie that they created a bunch of laughable plot holes in the movie, just a bunch of shit that happens and doesn't make any sense within the confines of the flick.

I really wanted this to be good, but it sounds like a total mess - occasional cool scenes aside.

People seem to be raving about Batfleck, but he kills people in this movie with guns? Is that right?

Kingsley in IM3 is one of the best things in any comic book movie

better twist than the sixth sense

Let's just ruin a great villain with a "Better not go in there cause I just blew up the toilet" joke.

The warehouse fight was good. That was it.

Extremis the comic mini-series is vastly superior.

Bridges was a shit villain and final third is pretty weak.

It's a shame IM1 couldn't stick the landing but the first two acts are so good that the film still holds in spite up of the weak third act.

But yeah, IM3 is my favorite in the series. Top 5 MCU for sure. Maybe top 3.
