Personally I think Transistor blows Bastion out of the water, and that's saying something because Bastion is really good. The depth of the combat system in that game, the way you can combine different abilities together to get awesome combinations, not to mention the interesting setting and the narration (much prefer the narration in Transistor to Bastion, he's an unreliable narrator and more of a character than the old man in Bastion).weird that you said that. Before launching this game I thought "huh I never finished Transistor totally abandoned it"
dunno why I wasnt feeling it, certainly not like I was Bastion
I wouldn't necessarily say Transistor and HLD are similar though, except that they are both beautiful games with great music and a high level of polish. HLD reminds me a lot more of Fez or Titan Souls, though I think it's better than either of those from what I've played this far. Probably just suites my tastes better.
