Is H2 (History Channel 2) the Vice channel now?
I dont think so? I believe one of the A&E channels turned into VICE. Unless H2 was part of A&E.

The domain holder can decide how to route traffic. In most cases ".domain.com" will redirect to "www.domain.com" or vice versa. The "www" is often there to indicate that it's a web server and not some other kind of server. How come omitting/putting the "www." part in a website address can give different results? Some websites can work with the www. but not without it, or vice versa. Why is that? What is the function of "www." exactly?

Click the number of 'Replies' on the main thread listingSometimes I see a summary of some threads that highlight who posted the most in a thread, how do you enable that? I can't seem to find an option for that.

There's this Miiverse artist with a consistent set of (non-gaming?) characters. Where are they from?

Hey guys,
How do you call this type of can opener in English:
![]()
I want to buy one (because they never jam or stop cutting, at worse you just need to push harder) but can only seem to find rotary ones when I look up "manual can opener" (whereas if I translate the words to French it comes up right away on google).
http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/closing-the-curtains/photosDoes anyone have this comic strip image of a GAFfer reacting disgustedly to sunlight coming through his window and closing his blinds? It was hilarious and describes me perfectly, but I can't find it anywhere. I tried Googling but couldn't find it.
Yesterday I found a shop that imports Mountain Dew (I'm not in the US and only know about it from mentions on forums such as gaf and overseas friends).
Should I try one or it's better if I stay away from it?
So my advice is if it's relatively cheap (for your own budget) get a bottle, try it out and then dispose of it and join the crusade against it

Why does the refresh button on neogaf mobile suck so bad? If you hit it and there's no new replies, the button will not work again unless you refresh the page in the browser

Hey, what's the difference between the Surface Pro and the Surface Book?
I've only had that happen (Chrome, Android) when I have a shitty connection. Even then, it usually generates a pop-up saying there are no new posts.
I use mobile Chrome, and I don't have that problemMaybe it's a mobile chrome problem. It's what I use. I always have a great connection and it fails every time if the first press produces no new results.

What's the difference between ModBot and ModBot 2?
Effectively nothing. The way Modbot is coded it can only do so much at once, so when there's a lot of giveaways or Modbot 1 is busy doing something else Modbot 2 will automatically post or PM in its stead. I think there might even be a Modbot 3 and 4.
Do you need to actually enable WiFi at home, or just connect your iPhone to the WiFi in your house that already works? How do I turn on wifi in my house so that I don't eat up internet data when using my iphone's internet at home? Yeah, I know this is a stupid question, and should've been doing this since I got an iphone in October.
Thanks
Do you need to actually enable WiFi at home, or just connect your iPhone to the WiFi in your house that already works?
For the former: on a PC that is hardwired to your router/modem you'll need to go to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.0 or 192.168.1.1 via a web browser to access your modem software. Depending on your router the WiFi options should be buried within there somewhere.
For the latter: Just go into iOS settings for WiFi and turn it on or allow the phone to access your home network which it should discover automatically.
For the latter, I turn it on, but I can't find a network that's mine? They're all locked. I did find my password I think.
Why was "I gotta go ly dow" so funny?
I believe it originated from this thread ...
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=404430
OP claimed his GF was in trouble and was spinning a yarn about what happened to her and at one point was being prodded for details and instead of answering he said he has to go ly down.
