Is this that Hamilton musical I've been hearing about?

For someone who isn't familiar with the source material, who's the power rangers in the back ground?

Well, Doctor Strange does get pretty crazy.

I am hoping for portals, inter-dimensional travel, and all other kinds of magical shenanigans.

At this point I'm surprised anyone in the MCU even wants to still live in New York City. BTW, is this an origin story or are we just gonna head right into full Doctor Strange?

Yup, thats Dr. strange alright. Even as a comic fan I couldn't help cracking up at those pics though. It's kinda like re-watching the first Avengers movie and realizing how ridiculous Caps costume was and how much better it was they switched him back to his old one.

I've set my expectations quite low for this. This shit needs to go all out acid trip visual effects combined with amazing cinematography and we'll probably end up with just another Marvel film that barely taps into that.

I hope I'm wrong.

When Infinity Gauntlet started in the comics, Silver Surfer crashes through the skylight in Doctor Strange's house. I really hope they do that in the movies.

The only thing that I care about for this movie, is how they will adapt Steve Ditko's psychedelic landscapes, when he was doing interior artwork during the character's early run.

The films cinematographer:

“It has a very psychedelic grounding, and it’s not your typical Marvel action movie … Most of the work within it is about other dimensions. And I described it, I think, when I was talking to Marvel as Marvel’s Fantasia, in a way, because it’s so sort of out there and different to everything else that they’ve done.”

There’s a lot of previsualisation, and there’s a lot of work which is very hard – you look at it and you see the imagery that they’ve created for it and you think, ‘Well how the hell do we shoot that!?’ because it’s all sort of Escher stuff.

“It’s all very out there. I can’t really say much more about it, I’m afraid. But I think it’ll be really interesting, and it’s a very dark movie, I’m pleased to say … DP’s always love the word ‘dark’. The trouble is that most producers don’t like dark. Mostly you get into DI [Digital Intermediate process] and people don’t seem to like dark anymore!”

These comic book characters seem silly in a real world setting. How does this work? Can't take this seriously without a flying metal suit or flying being from outer space..😐

Isn't Spiderman rumored to be in this?
I need pictures of Spiderman!!

I remember watching that kiddy Spiderman animated show crossover episode where he gets to wear Doctor Strange's cape.
It was hilarious. Definitely make me hopeful for something like that.

I have enough faith in Marvel to make their usual 6/10 movie where the opening third is the best part and they forget the story in lieu of a visual assault and sketchy motives.

Surprisingly thats not the worst thing in the world, perfectly watchable formula, if a tad bit disappointing because they have some wonderful characters.

These are encouraging but I'm still keeping expectations low because... Well, it doesn't hurt. Definitely gonna need a trailer soon to see how they're handling it.
Marvel doesn't have issues going full acid trip.

They must take that and multiply it by 10.

I am curious if they are going to have Adam Warlock be the leader of the super heroes in the Infinity Gauntlet films or they give that position to Doctor Strange.

Is it true that Doctor Strange is one of the most powerful superhero in the universe ?

Yes he's always doing dark shit that can tear apart the entire fabric of existence. Then getting monkey's pawed into bad deals with demons in exchange for powers
