I hope Ejiofor is an antagonist in this. Would warmly welcome another movie with Ejiofor in villain mode, cause Serenity was really aided by his performance. I got really excited by Triple 9 largely based on this alone.

I'm optimistic.
I guess they'll have it where they start off as students together doing crazy stuff until Ejiofor turns heel. Hopefully that can at least happen by the last act because I too love Ejiofor in antagonist mode.

Looks hilarious. Perfect family friendly superhero movie.
Not so sure about that. Christian families won't take their kids see black satanic magic being promoted like this. Marvel just shot themselves in the foot. Repent now or see their sales go down like Harry Potter and its black arts magic brainwashing.

If he's not an antagonist in this, he likely will be in a future installment. Baron Mordo is like, Dr. Strange's longest standing rival. It'd be like not making Lex Luthor or the Joker villains.
The only thing that I care about for this movie, is how they will adapt Steve Ditko's psychedelic landscapes, when he was doing interior artwork during the character's early run.
After seeing the quantum realm in antman, i'm not worried.

i'm intrigued on the magic stuff though. harry potter was the only thing that got the niche, though that was backed by the huge popularity of the books. in this case this has marvel behind it. i hope they go all out on his powers, magic hasn't been portrayed that amazingly in any movies (well aside from prestige but that's different)
I think they did a pretty good job at Scarlet witch powers. Continue and expand on that, I say.

Man, those costumes. Some people are saying it's embarrassing, but as a major Doctor Strange fan, they're giving me all kinds of fan boners. The stitching on the inside of the Cloak of Levitation, and the wraps on the wrists? I wondered what direction they'd go for gloves but I like this even more than what he was wearing in his cameos in that recent-ish Spiderman cartoon. And Mordo's costume too... with the sword in the back and everything? Man oh man. The green looks nice on Ejiofor.

Costume looks great. Love the people claiming yet again that Marvel have a flop on their hands, even if they are right for once a bloody stopped clock is right twice a day too.

I'm just assuming that half the thread is either joke posting or people who have never seen set pictures in their entire life.
