Giant Bomb Vive stream | What a Time to Be a Vive!

So after nearly an entire work day of them goofing on the Vive, are they still digging it? This morning when they started the excitement was infectious and they clearly were all having a great time.

How has it been since? Starting to dip into Oculus feelings as the mounds of minigames pile on? Or still beaming with the use of touch and room positioning?

Jeff is positively beaming compared to his reaction to the Oculus where he was super tepid. I think it comes down to games nailing room VR and being genuinely good games in general.

Looks like Hover Junkers, Budget Cuts and Will are the highlights so far?

All the Valve Lab stuff too. The personality spheres calibration system was god tier.

There have still been some gems. Jeff seems to love Budget Cuts.

Can i ask for a link to watch the archived stream from the beginning, while the show is still running? Thank you!
Open the stream on either giantbomb.com/chat or youtube and click at the beginning of the seek bar to rewind.
Actual archive videos will still take 1-2 days to appear.

The games they started out with are great too, The Gallery, Surgeon Simulator VR & Modbox so far apart from what you stated.

Guess I'll need to get Modbox as well. Throwing stuff into the cart as we speak.

And Job Simulator with its funny camera.

Missed that part of the stream

Missed that too (and glad I did). Trying to keep spoilers as minimal as possible :D

My god the taking the headset off was incredible.

Some actual great games so far, really making me wish this stuff was more accessible.

The RC car game thing just makes me want motorstorm rc in VR

It looks like shit, sounds like shit, plays like shit... Not sure we need 15 minutes of it. I understand the controllers are charging but there must be something else to demo.

Jeff was pretty tepid on this stuff too - I mean, he said he wouldn't recommend it.

That seems to mostly be based on the steep requirements for this in terms of price and space. Despite the fact that there are very promising games for this, it's hard to recommend that kind of investment for the average person.
