Most impressive FFXV video I've seen TBH.
It is not console footage. The UI is consistent with the PC development environment.
I'm very much looking forward to the game but how many times are they going to use the "not final, pre-beta" excuse for the visuals when it keeps looking worse and worse every time it's shown. I just want them to prove that they're making progress on that front. On a technical level, this doesn't look like a game coming out in six months.
Tabata was the right choice for this job; feeling that FF energy inside me again whew
Gas nozzle just phases into the car.
Also looks like the Zu enemy is in this game(the big black bird flying in this and using its talons on Noctis and Ignis in the Reclaim Your Throne trailer).

It's the Prelude at the core, but not exactly the same, yeah. You sure? sounds a lot different than the other Preludes.
It looks awful for PC standards..
A lil bit but i want to see actual gameplay in those areas.
Prologue. Is the boss battle that Tabata talks about part of Chapter 1? Or is it in the prologue?

They're developing on PC, NOT for PC. They're focus is consoles right now so it would only do them a disservice to have a superior build on PC at this time.
Not to mention, it's only just entered the polishing/debug phase and they've got roughly 6 months to get it to the final build quality.
Sounded like the game straight up starts with a boss battle, he made it sound like that would be the first 15 minutes of the game.Is the boss battle that Tabata talks about part of Chapter 1? Or is it in the prologue?
Is it console footage?

Five months to September. Not six. Less so to gold, but more time to work on a massive day one patch. lol =)
This game is so ugly compared to earlier gameplay trailers.
I've pretty much made peace with the fact that it's not going to be the best looking or performing game ever, technically. I think it's going to be a bit rough. It's going to look like a game that's been through a decade of development hell, and a game where the devs were wrangling with an engine that didn't want to cooperate with their ambitions.
If I'm wrong, and huge progress is made between what we've been shown so far and the final game in September, then fantastic! If not, I'm just going to live with it and focus on the rest of the package.
Yeah, same. It's just annoying since I thought Duscae actually looked solid but it's only gotten worse from there.

It's most likely old footage, most of the graphical issues the gameplay video has here:
aren't present at all here:
Why the hell wouldn't they give GI the most recent build to play around with is beyond me though. It's bad press to show footage that has so many shadows, aliasing, pop-in and LOD issues.
You're just used to bullshots and lies from Western devs. Square Enix is doing the opposite so no one will complain about graphics.

yikes, game looks like it needs a lot more than 6 months to finish.
