People still shitting on Wondy's awesome theme?? *sigh* The youth of today.
Man of Steel / BvS scene comparison for the best scene in the film.
Agreed, I'm honestly in disbelief that anyone could find it anything but laughable. The soundtrack was really obnoxious at times, really trying too hard to convince you what you're seeing is more epic then it really is, another notable example is the laptop scene in its entirety.
As much as I think both films are below average, I can really appreciate this. The timing is perfect and the way they visually align at times is fantastic.

- that said: I still can't believe they want to make an Aquaman movie... don't know DC heroes as good as Marvel but don't they have better heros instead of Aquaman? Don't have an opinion on Cyborg but i'm not really excited for him (compared to BP),
So i just read the following about wonderwomen....
She Had a Blind Audition for Wonder Woman
Initially, Gal had no idea that she was auditioning for the role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. All she knew was that she was reading for a project that Zack Snyder was directing and had Ben Affleck attached as the male lead. During her first audition, she read some dialogue from Death Proof, Quentin Tarantino's segment of Grindhouse.

These films are meant to be ridiculous.

I don't believe that.
She might not have known she was reading for Wonder Woman, but she has a bad agent if they couldn't figure out the Zack Snyder/Ben Affleck movie she was reading for was BvS.

I heard that her first intuition was perhaps reading for Catwoman. I'm almost certain she was just as surprised as us that Wonder Woman was finally getting a big screen adaptation. It's common practice to not know which character you're auditioning for in large productions. And almost always they never read a line from the final script until they get the role.
I'm glad she nailed it; she's awesome for the role.
The MOS scenes in that clip are edited, the timing doesn't perfectly line up like that.
The only thing that bugged me in that opening scene was how everyone apparantly was sitting in their offices untill Bruce Wayne gave them a call to GTFO.

Bruce Wayne is a very powerful man. You don't just get up and leave your desk without permission, even if half the city is getting pancaked.
That makes him sound like a tyrant instead of the benevolent boss they were probably aiming for.
This movie was alright, it had the pieces to be great but not the delivery and especially not the editing style. I'd like to see the extended cut though. I am curious why the backlash was so severe.
Gal on the WW movie:

- Some humour, but overall pretty DARK (reshoot rumours in 1...2...)
-"We go back 100 years to when she's more naïve,"
- "She's this young idealist. She's pure. Very different to the experienced, super-confident, grown-up woman you've seen."
Keep fuckin' that chicken. Guess I'll wait until reviews before I bite.Gal on the WW movie:

The amount of destruction in MoS really is ridiculous. What that scene reminded me the most was people back then saying that the area where Superman and Zod fought was already deserted, as a defense for Superman's apparent disregard for human life, heh (I may have actually been one of those). BvS makes it way clearer that is really not the case, and that Superman does not appear to care at all.
That sequence in BvS was really well executed, although unfortunately its effectiveness hinges upon the quality of the movie it's referencing.
Well, sharing the same screenwriter as Pan doesn't bode confidence in this one.
We're going to get the "amazons kidnap, rape, and murder random sailors for babies" origin story, aren't we?
And you can bet your ass one of them will be Jimmy Olsen's great grandpa!

I'm sure that may have been the case, but the narrative has become that she didn't even know anything other than it being a Zack Snyder/Ben Affleck movie. Which everyone would've known was BvS by then.

Those that defend it by questioning who'd rather watch Superman attempt to minimalise destruction honestly confuse me. Having Superman handicapped like that would have only made the fight more interesting, and come across all the more heroic for it.
I will forgive you since pop culture envisions aquaman from super friends still, but aquaman is actually a really great super hero and im excited for his movie. Cyborg i dont have the hate most do for him but a solo movie will be hard for him to hold. Aquaman does much more then communicate with fishes. Hope we get black manta in his movie.
I hope it's going suprise me, i still can't get enough of hero flicks and also people said "a movie with a guy who can shrink himself and runs with Ant? lulz" and it worked.
Any good comic showing good Aquaman stuff?

I really wish the Doomsday fight was that.
Superman getting the shit kicked out of him in the middle of Metropolis and as the fight progresses you realize it's because he's so pre-occupied with saving people, and making sure another 'Black Zero' doesn't occur. Then you can have him near death to show he was willing to die to save everyone, and have Wonder Woman even the fight out.
But nooooo, take the fight to some deserted area and ignore the dramatic potential of a Superman who wants to save civilians.
"We had a scene that we cut from the movie where he tries to look for her when he finds out that Lex has got her," Snyder continued. "It was a slightly dark scene that we cut out because it sort of represented this dark side. Because when he was looking for his mom he heard all the cries of all the potential crimes going on in the city, you know when you look.
I kind of like the idea that hes taught himself not to look because if he looks its just neverending, right? You have to know when, as Superman, when to intervene and when not to. Or not when not to, you cant be everywhere at once, literally you cant be everywhere at once, so he has to be really selective in a weird way about where he chooses to interfere.
Me and few friends just booked some seats to see this Saturday and the entire theater was empty. Completely empty.
That was surprising.
Should I lower my expectations now?
You won't believe what scene Zack Snyder cut from the film for being too dark!

For those wondering why Superman didn't hear Martha being kidnapped
No word if its in the director's cut
