Diancie has already had two opportunities (1 serial code, 1 wi-fi) this Gen. Unless they decide to distribute the Shiny Diancie in the west there will not be a third chance until well into Gen 7.
 
So I have to ask though. From what the newsletters and promos say, It seems we'll get all three. But I'm wondering if you'll just get one per account. I don't know if I'm making sense, but I guess I'm just trying to figure out whether I'll have to make two more accounts on there to have better chances of getting all three. :\

Edit: Damn it--it seems I keep answering my own questions AFTER I look and look, then post. "Enter these unique codes to unlock all three Pokémon in your Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y game."

I don't want Mew, I just want to have him as caught in my Pokedex. Anyone willing to trade for him? Ill trade my Shiny level 100 Gigalith as a deposit persay and then we can trade back...takers?

I've just looked, and it seems that you can claim one in Europe now (till 30 april?) by using hoopa2016 as a code.

Haven't tried it yet, but that would be good news for those who missed it.

I'll probably be down to Diancie, once the year is over...

Local distributions are region-free but Wi-Fi and Serial Code distributions are region locked so you can only get Local distributions. There are three Japanese local distributions ongoing right now. Unfortunately all are only for ORAS so there are no events you can access in Japan right now.

There is one event you may be able get which is a Birthday Pokemon (a Local XYORAS event) from any Pokemon Center in Japan but you can only get it on your birthday and only if you bring proof that it is your birthday so it's unlikely you'll be able to get that either.

If you can get one then I believe you choose one out of Pikachu, Eevee, or the Eeveelutions which have the special move Celebrate.

My wife's birthday was on the 10th of April, maybe I'll get her to ask one of the workers ;)

Let's say I download ORAS, what could I get? All I could find was a shiny Ho-oh as celebration for the Kyoto pokemon centre opening, what were the others?

In addition to the Shiny Ho-oh which you can get at any Pokemon Center in Japan until the 24th you can also get a Masuda's Psyduck from the Yokohama Pokemon Center on the 16th or the Nagoya center on the 17th and you can get an egg which randomly contains one of Ralts, Carvanha, Numel, Swablu and Bagon (with event ribbons) from Hiroshima's Pokemon Center from April 1st until April 30th.

Has this changed in the last couple of years then? When I was staying in Japan in 2014, I couldn't get any local distributions on my UK copy of X, only my Japanese copy of Y.

I was able to get one of these actually - it was my wife's birthday so we went with Sylveon!
 
You have about 7 days left to claim Jirachi (164 hours give or take) on as many XYORAS games you have :)

Also, you have about 4 days left (April 22) to sign up for a Pokemon Trainer Club account and OPT-IN for marketing email messages if you want Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres in May.

This page of tables lists all current and upcoming events by distribution type. Each table has a region column. If a row has NA in the region column then that event is available in NA.

It hasn't changed at all this Gen. If you were able to get the Sylveon you should have been able to get all other local events. Not sure what went wrong there then. At least you got the Sylveon though!
