- Animal Crossing NX announced

All in all I think Sony will try hard to top last year's conference and actually succeds. They have a great catalogue of already announced games to show and to announce and the big "Crash" megaton (hopefully). But Microsoft and Nintendo will not be behind, the big 3 all should have amazing stuff to show this year.

Those asking for RDR2 should really lower expectations. Take2 being at E3 this year is more to push their 2K stuff, including titles such as Mafia III, BioShock stuff, and other things.

I'm asking for RDR3 since 2 already happened. Redemption was the second Read Dead.

"5 million sales"

It's true though, I think the series as a whole sold around 20 million I believe (don't go by me). AND they're still topping the charts on PSN.

Ugh... To put it in perspective, The Last of Us on PS3 sold ~6 million copies, with an install base of 80 million. A big budget game, with a pretty big marketing budget. You're kidding yourself to believe Crash will sell that many copies (Or even be a good game).

Crash Bandicoot wouldn't be the same unless Jason Rubin, Andy Gavin and Josh Mancell were on board, so that pretty much rules out most studios, even the almighty Naughty Dog!

Yeah dude, no one gives half of a shit, you're totally right. If anything, it seems to me that the "very specific GAF bubble" is this aforementioned group that thinks the games are worthless and that no one cares about it. Only here have I seen such VITRIOL for Crash and its fans.

A part of me would almost be ready to buy a PS4 just for Crash Bandicoot. Another says the game will not be like the first three games. Sony hasn't made an old-school game in forever. They'll try to show off the PS4's capabilities and lose the series' original simple charm.

Im the biggest Crash Bandicoot I know, but I think 5M might be too much. Im sure it would be a huge hit and maybe can hit that mark at the end of the generation or something, but that is a lot these days. Doing 2M would be already amazing for it.

Which games have even sold 5M+ on PS4 so far? Destiny, Watch Dogs and Battlefront are the only ones that I would bet on that came to my mind right now

Microsoft:

I don't see a need to talk about Hololens at E3 again if Microsoft does announce a new xbox i would hope they would work out some kind of deal with oculus for support, but oculus going away from their "you need a powerful box and those are expensive" stance might not lend itself to this.

I also expect some talk about Windows and PC

Sony:

- PS4K console reveal
- PSVR full blowout + games
- Detroit
- Persona 5
- Final Fantasy VII Remake
- Ni no Kuni 2
- Kingdom Hearts 2.8
- BEND's new IP announced
- inFAMOUS 3 announced
- Demons Souls Remastered (or maybe Bloodborne 2 already?) announced
- Crash PS4 announced
if Sony decides to go forward with PS4K then this would be the time and place to talk about it. i don't expect to see a huge blowout on the E3 stage for PSVR, probably trailers, and a list of titles. it doesn't show well on a stage.
Detroit might wait till Gamescom or Paris
not sure if Persona would get stage time.
I hope we get more on 7R but with square you never really know.
really hope to see more on Ni No Kuni 2 but it would depend on when we can actually expect to see it release.
KH2.8 talk only if they talk about KH3. Only if, and it would just be a release date and that's it.
They need to talk about what Bend is working on.
i think Sucker punch is making a new IP, that's my guess unless something has leaked.
The last 2 i don't see happening.

Nintendo:

- New 2D Mario announced for NX
- Metroid Prime 4 announced for NX
- Pikmin 4 announced for NX
- Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 HD for NX
- Animal Crossing NX announced
- F-Zero NX announced

if a new mario is announced its going to be 3D.
need a new metroid, will be disappointed if the only metroid talk this year is that federation farce.
pikmin? eh.
Idk if nintendo will do HD remasters
the last 2 sound like what they need, don't know if we'll get.

"Only here have I seen such VITRIOL for Crash and its fans." lol
Anyway... Social media interest doesn't equal sales figures of 5 million. I personally don't know what they could do to justify a new Crash game. I'd rather have sony spend time on a new ideas, rather than rehashing old ones. Why would I care about a crash game this day-and-age?

Hopefully MS talks a little bit about the problems with Windows Store games. I know their promises are usually empty with regards to PC but I'll take acknowledgement, even if it probably leads to nothing, over silence and denial.

I've seen some predict Oculus support for an Xbox One.5/XBO+ but what would be the point of HoloLens for Xbox if Oculus would be arriving to the platform as a far more mature product with better support? One would cannibalize the other.

NX mind share and hype on the rise? I'm starting to think so... Being that Nintendo more or less hit rock bottom with WiiU I think they've got nowhere to go but up. The speculation, the leaks/fakes, media attention seems to ramping up. Maybe not "Revolution" levels but the excitement is building. All eyes are on NX and what Nintendo does/doesn't do to counter Sony, Microsoft and VR. It's this do or die scenario that has me interested in what they're cooking, it's gotta be big to compete. Not Just with Zelda or the NX "gimmick" but surely they've secured a few head turning exclusive deals and some third party staples to make an attractive proposition. FF7R, DQ, Monster Hunter(?), is Destiny on NX a possibility? Maybe resurrect some Wii IPs. A few remasters. A more robust VC. Am I asking for too much here? Lol Without question I'm as intrigued and hype as I was with the Wii but on pins and needles because of WiiU while dreaming they can make a masterful SNES comeback.(just thinking of their golden years.)

I think no matter what happens at the Sony conference, if they announce the PS4K during it, it's going to send so many mixed messages that people will just call it a fall from grace from their last conference.

Massaging the new console is going to be so important. That can't screw that up.

I think the biggest games in terms of coverage and wealth of information will be Horizon and FF7.

Horizon has been in development for two and a half years, and since it's Guerrilla I have high expectations. I fully believe it will come this year as well.
