Final Fantasy IX PC will require downloading Android Plug-Ins [possibly misleading]

As seen in this page:

Edit. False Alarm?

Calm down guys! That page simply lists all licenses used for everything they used to create the Unity port of FF9. You can see this because they even included the license for AutoBuilder, which will certainly NOT be included in any build of FF9 (it is a script for the Unity Editor which means it isn't packaged with the game when built).

So yes, of course they used the Android SDK to create the Android port. Of course they used Google Play stuff. I'm also pretty sure references to these plugins would remain in the build even if these plugins aren't used on PC, forcing them to include them on the list anyway (even if they didn't just create one list with all licenses for all versions).
.

It's a shame these Steam ports get so little TLC.

I was looking at the store pages for the classic FF games and they all look so revolting.

Yah know since this thing was built within Unity that could have just compiled to PC...

If this port runs poorly or not as well at release after this long of a wait from announcement oh boy..

This could be a good thing, do the android versions run at 60fps?

The previous FF PS1 ports ran at like, 15fps during combat

Been waiting since the mobile version released in February and this is the best they can do?

I'm getting it, but man.

I mean, I could plausibly see if they just didn't bother pulling out the mobile specific parts from the build, not so much that it'll actually be literally running within Bluestacks or something.

One of the licenses listed there is "XCodeEditor-for-Unity", which I thought was iOS related.

If i understand this right they didn't even really need to port this and it's essentially emulated? Or am i completely off base here?

You know... it might be a smart idea to make your PC port an easier solution than using a playstation emulator to run the game where you make no money from that...
