I think the HD2D games of late look great. Gives the proper visual polishing without messing with the original pixel art style.
I think we can all agree that we do NOT need a full-fledged remake of Xenogears, a la FF7Remake, or the modernized FFTactics redrawn sprites. It's the only safe and acceptable way to bring it back other than dumping the ROM via emulation.
Monolithsoft needs to stay as far away as possible from touching that gem.

I think Xenogears would look really good if they just made it higher resolution. I don't think "HD2Difying" it would make it look better. But I guess we have a different opinion about this. While I've enjoyed my time with DQ3 HD2D, I always found myself wishing they did a full-on remake, tbh. I never had that feeling when I played the Super Famicom version of the game.
