Only some places in eastern europe has the far-right come to power. In Western Europe populist candidates like Trump never get more than 20-30 % maximum.
That is very different from America where someone like Trump has a real chance to win it all. Even if he loses it will probably be with 40-45 % of the vote.
Moreover, bipartisanship is stil alive many places in Europe. In the american congress it's just total gridlock all the time.
The United States has much to be proud of, but not your political system. It's completely broken with a very low voter turnout and zero trust from the populace.
