I am very sad. My cousin dedided to burn my lip with his cigarette when I asked him why he did not say hello to me yesterday when I greeted him.

And then last night my three cousins decided to shout in my face and get physical to me just because I am drinking my beers. I did not even get drunk.

And then my uncle decided to pull me in my clothes as he wanted to fight. I asked him what is his problem and he said me.

I have no idea why they need to beat me.

And now we will have to go on a 12 hour car trip to get to their place in the province.

I want to go back home but then I have to pay full price for a ticket and I do not want my mother to pay that.

Why are they mad at you? Be safe.

Hello Filipino-GAF

I recently launched a new website called Buhay Digital.

It's a "digital lifestyle" site with meaningful stories that explore the digital lifestyles of Filipinos. News, features, and tips about digital technologies (websites, apps, etc.), services, media, and trends, and how they can help Filipinos live better lives. Local startups that have interesting or groundbreaking ideas. And conversations about where digital lifestyle in the Philippines is heading.

Hope you can check out the first batch of articles here:

I'm being slaughtered by Duterte supporters on Facebook today because I answered Miriam Santiago to who I would like to see take over the presidency, and because I am not a can of Duterte. Personal insult upon personal insult. Like that I look fucked based on my profile picture and that I am not full Filipino.

I'm not taking it personal but never thought so many would attack me in that way and that equally as many would support me and claim I'm the only one with very valid arguments. Trying to tune out from Facebook now.

My iPhone 6 has completely broken too but I can't find any interesting phones other than the Samsung Galaxy S7 and a Gear VR headset.

yeah if you are not a Duterte supporter be careful of saying who you support, even after that rape joke people are still defending him saying that

Pretty much like what happened with Pacquiao. A lot of people are taking a jab against the LGBT. Their replies were hilarious.

Tried to convince my parents to fly with me to the old country for a 3 week vacation. Since we barely been spending time together for a fun family time. . They pretty muched darksouls nope.gifd on me after that bullet to your baggage thing came back. Now im not even sure if i wanna go back there and check out my childhood friends.

The way most of our people tolerated the dumb shit pacquiao said... reminded me why we still a 3rd world country. I'm not that hopeful towards our country's future either because majority of my generation pretty much reflects the sentiments of the old one.

Yeah, Dutertards are the worst. They will sling muds at anyone that are not on their side.

Did you guys watch Binibining Pilipinas? Here's Miss Universe 2016's Philippine representative, Maxine Medina:

maxine-miss-philippines.jpg

Her answer was kinda terribad. Maybe some practice will do.

On the other hand, here's the runner-up (Miss Intercontinental), Kylie Versoza:

And her answer was good.

I were surprised I weren't even going to choose a seat when going to watch Captain America: Civil War at the premiere. It was just free for all when you arrived inside lol.

Booked a hotel in Laoag but didn't turn up today. Hopefully I can still check in tomorrow. Dunno what to do there at nighttime when I'm alone though.

Where did you watch? Most theaters here, specially SM Cinemas, are really bad. For a similar price at Ayala Malls, you will have a reserved seat.

I watched it at Robinson's MovieWorld in Laoag. The only option around here. Thinking of watching it again but at a cinema in Manila.

Yeah, Robinson's also doesn't have reserved sitting. Couldn't speak about the quality of them as I haven't watched there for ages. Do try the recommendations earlier in this thread (Ayala Malls) as they are the best. Can't also speak for IMAX on SM Cinemas, but I haven't heard any negative thing about them.

Speaking of Civil War, I will be watching it tomorrow.

Goddamn Asian countries getting Civil War early.

I have to wait a week like a pleb.

I'm picking up reserved IMAX 3D tickets though.

Ugh that sucks. I would like something Jollibee related with me home. I have loved that restaurant since I were a kid.

I'm also looking for a Philippines flag and a map over Laoag or Ilocos but it's like nobody got anything.

Actually, Laoag has lost some of its charm and it's just not the same as six years ago. 5 Sisters have been totally ruined by a boring supermarket, and there's nothing in Pure Golden. In fact it looks modern on the outside but isn't on the inside.

I'm going back to Laoag tomorrow for the last time during this trip and hopefully I can find some of the souvenir stuff and get some good photographies.

National Bookstore should have flags
They used to have this toy before, I think some branches still sell it or you can try calling Jollibee's main office or email them.

Went to Southmall and they didn't have flags and their maps of the Philippines are only the size of an A4 paper. Kind of disappointing. I did find two magazines with Pia Wurtzbach though: Cosmopolitan and Philippine Tatler.

Where can I go to look for Filipino movies on DVD or Bluray? I am primarily looking for "The Breakup Playlist" which on saw on TV recently and "Wag Kang Lillingon" which are the only Filipino movies I have really watched.

you should go to Recto for Military stuff. they should have the big flags used in flag ceremonies. it's near Far Eastern Univ (FEU)

Haven't seen a BD release from Star Cinema, Viva or Regal Films. Surprisingly, they get sold out quick. Try these stores for Filipino flicks:

Astrovision
Odyssey
SM Department Store
Robinson's Dept. Store

Heneral Luna is on DVD already.

Any John Lloyd Cruz - Bea Alonzo film.
Starting Over Again
John Lloyd - Sarah Geronimo films
Milan
That Thing Called Tadhana
On The Job

Tiktik: The Aswang chronicles is quite decent
the same goes for Feng Shui,The Healing and Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay.

Avoid almost anything from GMA films haha! Sorry but they just dont produce quality stuff most of the time. Hit or Miss most of the time

I haven't watch it yet but it's up on Amazon for 20 bucks so it should be available here forroughly a thousand pesos at the most (approx)

ill check if i can find one within your area. have you tried sm bacoor or atc?

You're My Boss is also funny. I watch Coco Martin films haha!

I haven't been to Bacoor SM. Only Southmall so far, and I'm going to Mall of Asia soon. I'm still looking for:

- Filipino movies (I'll check out the stores you suggested, thanks!)

- Boxset so I can watch Filipino TV in my country (who should I ask for this?)

- Pia Wurtzbach stamps (probably have to buy them second hand now)

- PeopleAsia magazine: where Pia is holding her crown.

The election is gonna be crazy. My facebook feed is so damn messy cause of the coming election.
I'm certain Rody will win but won't be surprised if he loses because of cheating.

I have a few Filipino friends (living in the Philippines) on Facebook, and election fever seems to be at an all-time high.

I'm seeing a ton of image macros and general stuff about the elections. Shit is cray.

my gosh... i'm tired of the political newsfeed!!! i can't wait for Uncharted 4

@fil movies
do you just want the romantic comedies or do you want the heavy drama stuff too? try looking forb honor thy father if it is on dvd

Boxset:
Oh about the Boxset, I meant more like a set top box which makes it possible to watch Filipino TV abroad.

Also if you guys were going to vote, who would you vote for as president and vice president?

I think my votes would go to:

President: Miriam Defensor Santiago
Vice: Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Let's see the votes of GAF!

If i was a voter i would have voted for Miriam pres, then escudero for vp. God bless the Philippines.. I feel Shits about to go down in there. i just hope it will be peaceful.

Man, i cannot imagine having a guy like Duterte running the country fro 6 years..

I tried watching some movies with coco martin on it. But I can't because the dude resembles my brother so much i just can't help but laugh my ass off everytime he comes up on screen. Great actor i might say. I need to go back watch some Filipino movi s. My favorite ones were from Vic Sotto and co from the 80s.

ohh.. abscbn tv plus! im not sure if it works abroad. it relies on the local signal sent from abscbn.

i'm tired of trapos so you know who I will vote for.

Whoever wins, let's give them a chance to perform their duty. The citizens need to stop with the current mentality.

Have you seen Dick Gordon's ads and meme's?

Coco had mature roles before he went mainstream.

I will try to be optimistic if he wins. One of those hings i would love to be proven wrong. I hope he and people he surrounds himself with will stay away from corruption. I remember erap having this kind of appeal similar to what Duterte has right now. People loved him for it and look what happened few years after he got elected. Gloria seemed to be the ones who would undo his mistakes but she got herself involved with it too. It's difficult to have positive outlook for the current state of politics if recent history shows time and time again those who we perceive as clean gets elected then later on gets exposed for wrongdoings and abuse of power. With that said if the person who gets to be elected stays away from corruption and puts the good of it's citizens above anything else then he she did the job well.

Anither thing.. may 10 please hurry up! thought about playing Dark souls 3 can't focus because all I'm thinking about is Uncharted 4. Hnnnnngggggg.

I am still slightly angry that Sony will release Uncharted 4 on May 10, when they can release it tomorrow since it's a holiday. Vote wisely and then head home to play. (It doesn't help that this week, I am swarmed with work at the office).

I am in Mall of Asia now. I'll ask about ABS CBN TV plus but I don't think they have a local signal in Denmark? I don't even know where to ask but I'll just ask around.

So I have 3 days left. Tomorrow I'm headed back to Southmall were I plan on asking about that set top box.

Anyway, where can I find the post office in Cavite? I'll get one chance at finding it, so hopefully they'll have stamps left. It's incredibly hard for me to find.

Today I also got to try out Tekken 7 in Timezone, and while my mother thought her phone had been stolen from me, so I got to see surveillance of myself in the backroom. That was cool. Also bought BanaPasses. Got home with souvenirs as well but I would have liked if they had a big flag of the Philippines - at least I found a rather large map of the country.

It's ELEKSYON DAY!

Gonna be super interesting. I still think it's gonna be either Duterte or Miriam. And Bongbong has a good chance for Vice.
