What's The Most Money You've Spent In One Night Out?

I'm not talking about purchases or anything like that. I mean clubs, casinos, brothels, restaurants, whatever; making it thunderstorm etc.

The most I've ever spent is like $400 on a night visiting my hometown in between 2 casinos and a strip club.

Your turn.

$300. The bar over charged me and I was too drunk to catch it at the time. The whole ordeal took a couple weeks to straighten out, but I finally got my money back

600+
Flowers (60)
Burlesque Show ticket (30)
Dinner that ended up being a 4 course meal i didnt 270
coming out of the burlesque show to 260 dollars in parking tickets.

1100 euro; restaurant, casino, hotel suite, room service, hotel security deposit because we trashed the place.

All appx, for two people:

200 for Hotel room.
200 for gambling
200 for show tickets
100 for food

Those feel low, but I'd say 700-1K dollar range.

Oh, if I include travel costs and the other daytime expenses, it's definitely more.

Wait.. what counts as a night out? How about drinking on the couch, while online shopping? I've easily spent 5k+ in a night that way.

Just last week I split the check at a client dinner. My half of the tab... $1,000! Damn near shit my pants.

Yeah about $500 on a date.
Food for two at a 4 star restaurant, concert tickets, and a suite at the resort.
Guess that doesn't include gas in the car and car service, but whatever.

Its a once in a while thing. Certainly wouldn't make it a habit.

Many hundreds for sure. I mean... if you consider going to a hot Broadway show, going out to dinner, and drinks for two, you could easily spend close to $1,000 on that. If you factor in transportation or lodging, obviously a lot more.

That sucks. It's one thing to drop money but it really stings when it's over some BS like that. I hate parking tickets. That said, those are some pretty hefty fines. You must have been parked on top of a fire hydrant.

About $300. I took my friend to a casino, and while we're both under 21, we ate at the buffet and went to the arcade.

It was a blast.

Depends on where. Probably no more than like $300. Gettin lit on my 27th birthday at a few bars and restaurants.

Probably like $250'ish after drinks/eating/cab. I get pretty self aware of how much I spend when I'm out and generally know when to cut it out.

Over $2k in South Beach Miami. Ouch. Still feeling that one but it was a DOPE night. It was a bachelor weekend and we were frontin' something serious with rented cars, bottle service, strippers and all that other good shit. Good times. No regrets.

The day after Christmas in NYC this past year. We probably spent around $150-200 during the day, then went to see Hamilton, which cost me around $600 total. So somewhere around $800 for that day.

Though I didn't technically pay for the tickets that day - does it still count? If not, probably like $500 on Valentine's Day this year.

EDIT: Actually, if you count the apartment we were renting while in NYC, you can add another $200. So north of $1000 total for that day.

Depends if you count hotel in the cost or not...

Gambling related;
In Vegas gambling, definitely $1000.

On vacation:
Europe, NYC, or something similar including hotel, $750. Without hotel like $400-500. Mostly just dinner and drinks.

Hometown:
Like $200. Again mostly just dinner and drinks. Goes up if you include a sporting event or a show.

I somehow made two grand at blackjack in Vegas one night.

So two grand.

Heh, I made 5 grand one night but I played right up until my flight so I escaped with all the money. Then my aforementioned $1000 night happened the next time I went.

Between $300-$400 on a Bachelor party for myself and the Groom. Luckily everyone else in our party paid for themselves, which would have cost me close to $2000 and is money I don't have.

450€ at bars.
I was usually dropping 500€ every week end on alcohol and clubs.
Never again, I limit my spendings around 50€/night.

God damn and I thought I spent a lot when I boozed up with around 150€ per week.

What's the extra $100 get you?

The first girl had a different rate than the second girl. The $300 one was better looking and skilled, for the record. Then again, the $400 was my nightcap at like 4:30 in the morning and left hurriedly, so maybe that didn't help my assessment of value.

Rental car $60
Meal at Wolfgang Puck $200
Outfit for the evening $100

Taking you girlfriend out for a night on the town and finding out she's the one. Priceless

(13 years later)

I spend the same amount taking my kids to the movies and dinner. So not Priceless anymore.

I won 2 grand gambling so I took a few friends out.

300 on weed
200+ on new vaporizer and grinder
200+ restaurant bill
100+ at movie theater

We had planned to go to a strip club at the end but we were too high after the movie to do anything so we had one of my friends' wife come pick us up.

£250 on drinks, bar/club entries and a taxi home on a night out in Manchester (UK). In fact I've spent near that on many a night out over the years. Work hard, party hard!

The most would've probably been $80 or so at a casino.

I can't remember spending more than $40 at bars. I don't go to them much, and have always been very very frugal.

I spent $600 alone just on dinner for 2 one night. Italian place in Philly, 6 course meal with a different bottle of wine with each course.

Was dreadful tho. Took her their as a "goodbye, we are breaking up" dinner. 3 glasses in and she was crying on and off.

I did prob waste close to 20k on her over the course of 3 months trying to give her a luxurious lifestyle.

i spent about 50,000 Yen one night with my SO bar hopping at Golden Gai in Tokyo and gorging on food around the area.

I once ate at a place that costs around $500/person. It was a dinner for two, so that was $1000, just for dinner.

But it was sweet because the food was amazing, and we ended up sitting right next to Kenny G.

My piece of the bachelor party for one of my best friends was around $800. That covers the hotel, meal, special package at the strip club, etc.

Wouldn't the company you work for re-comp you later for the tab if you give them the receipt? Or are YOU the company? lol.

That's a lot of G's!

I recently sold a house that I inherited and through a party that ended up costing about $2400.

next month I am throwing another dumb party that will cost around $25,000.

I'm getting married!!!

Maybe in the $250 range, and that's rare. I live in a small college town now, so I could buy drinks for the bar for a few hours and my tab would still be below $600 at the end of the night. My first night going out in Austin, I think I spent $190 between drinks and cover charges. I wasn't even a big drinker then, so now I'd be doubling that.

I don't gamble and I'm not into strip clubs, so anytime my friends go I just pass.
